Hinting that she could do both of Remilia's requests, Byakuren gets a pleased smirk in return from the vampiress.
"Well that is a bit of a surprise. Let's start with the shorter one then." the girl vampire says. She moves to the edge of the huge bed, tapping on it with her hand
"Have a sit down, it'll make this easier" Byakuren does as Remi says, sitting down on the bed
"This'll only take a few minutes" the vampire says as she moves behind Byakuren. Seeing this happen, Byakuren starts to get bad feelings about this
"Not again..." she thinks as Remi's hands grasp her shoulders and move her dress aside. Soon, Byakuren can feel Remi's warm breath on her neck, followed by a wet sensation. The vampiress skillfully licks and kisses Byakuren's neck, causing her to emit a few quiet moans
"Ooooh, noo..." Byakuren thinks, almost waiting for another session of pleasure. But her desires are cut off with a sting, as Remilia sinks her teeth into Byakuren's delicate neck. Taking her time, the vampiress sucks on Byakuren's neck, draining blood till she's satisfied.

As Remilia finally lets her go, Byakuren feels intense light-headedness. But the vampiress lies her gently down on the bed.
"You have a rest now, the effects of the drain will last for a bit. When you're feeling better, come see me in the courtyard." Remi says as she starts to walk out, leaving Byakuren to recover

A few hours later, the two of them meet in the yard, under a beautiful night sky. As Byakuren approaches Remilia, the vampire hands out a letter.
"I'd like you to deliver this to the shrine people at the top of the mountain. Usually I'd send Sakuya, but she's been busy lately." Agreeing to do this Byakuren sits down with the mistress to have some tea. During their conversation, Remi mentions that Scarlet Devil Mansion will help Byakuren if some endeavor requires assistance.

Later next day, Byakuren leaves the mansion, heading out to investigate new places

Then we tap the mountain for red mana and cast Lightning Bolt on the Hakurei Shrine.

Sixteen. I don't like this number.

(That was what you call a last-minute vote right there. I like the MTG reference though)

"Better deliver the letter first, like I promised to Miss Remilia" Byakuren thinks as she sets course back towards the mountain she thought about climbing earlier.

Byakuren hikes the whole day through the forest between her and the mountain, destroying a few minor predators that try to attack her with her recovered power. She had some of her old strenght now, but misses the safety of having a partner with her. As night starts to fall, Byakuren ponders what Shou and Nazrin are doing as she sets up a place to sleep in a stony alcove, hidden from sight by nearby plantlife. As she sits be the fire, Byakuren goes through the current journey she's been through, awakening at Rinnosuke's shop home, the night she shared with Mokou, saving Shou's life and meeting the people at the clinic, up to her more recent encounters with Komachi and the SDM dwellers.
"This Gensokyo is such a wonderful place..." she thinks as she puts out her fire and settles down to sleep

A gaggle of different voices nearby startle Byakuren from her sleep. Fearing for her safety, she crawls among the bushes to see what's happening. Looking through bush, she can see a whole group of girls nearby, arguing about something. There's six of them, with four forming a semicircle around the two main arguers. One of them Byakuren remembers meeting before, the little blonde youkai named Rumia. Beside her is a slightly taller girl with bird wings, a brown dress and hat. The third girl is standing further away, with insect-like antennae sticking out from her short green hair. Her style of dress, coupled with her figure make her very androgynous-looking. Trying to stop the two from fighting is a more adult-looking girl in blue and white clothing. The arguers themselves are two fairies, both of them in blue and white clothing as well. But they have differences, the green-haired fairy has normal fairy wings, the blue-haired one ice crystals for wings.
"Why can't we go find apples yet, Dai-chan?!" the blue-haired one yells at the other
"You should know that they don't grow at this time of year" the one called Dai-Chan replies
"I want apples!"

This is a curious group, Byakuren is not sure what would happen if they saw her there

A. Reveal your presence and try to talk with them

B. Attack them from hiding

C. Stay hidden and see if they leave

Looking a bit further at the group, Byakuren steels herself for a possible hostile encounter, despite the childish behaviour most of them show. She slowly gets up among the bushes and softly hollers at the girls. As soon as they hear her, the entire group goes silent and turn towards her. With the gaze of six different youkai/fairies on her, Byakuren suddenly starts to regret the choice she made.
"This does not look good.."

The blue-haired fairy starts to charge up a spell of some sort, but Rumia quickly steps forward and smacks her in the back of the head.
"Calm down moron, Rumia knows this lady." she says as she dashes towards Byakuren. As Rumia closes the gap between them, she leaps on to Byakuren, clinging to her like a child to their mom.
"Long time no see lady. Got any food for Rumia this time?" the little youkai asks with an excited voice. Patting Rumia on the head, Byakuren replies
"I'm a little tight on food now, but we could look for some?"
As the rest of the group hear this, they turn towards the bird-winged girl. Looking back in with a slightly worried look, the girl replies
"W-well I suppose we could go have a round at my stand. But this is the last time I'll offer freebies, next time you help me catch some lampries so I can keep up with the demand!"

Before they can share any proper introductions, the blue-haired fairy walks up to Byakuren.
"I ain't accepting you into this circle of friends, you old hag. You have to show me if you're strong enough to be a part of us. In fact, I challenge you to a duel!" she says, pointing her finger at Byakuren with a defiant look. The others facepalm and shake their heads at this behaviour, but don't try to stop her.

A. Take her on seriously

B. Take her on, then lose on purpose

C. Use your summoning token to call Komachi and let her fight instead
