*rubs forehead* Let me be clear here, if your characters continue to react with hostile defiance changing to Ventus isn't going to work. She's more respectful, but demands respect in turn.

If you were just playing your character, frankly, you made a poor choice of character for erotica.

All this discussing is draining my creative energy.

Hostility tends to provoke hostility. Thats sorta the problem. We're supposed to sympathize with them but they don;t give reason to sympathize. Merrium;s story is sad but her actions make it hard to feel it. Like what's the first thing she did after saying to play along? Make it harder to play along. If that was intended, then it tends to ruin the sympathetic affect.

Lorelai is hostile because she;s kept being put in a rough position. Be honest or be punished. Be honest and be punished. Abuse and be abused. Of course she;s hostile. Lillith has pretty much come straight out as a sadist and fanatic and that nothing Lorelai says or thinks matters. Who wouldn't be hostile?

And yeah I probably did make a poor choice for it. I shoulda went with someone who was submissive and docile instead. But it sorta breaks the point of having corruption and what not to begin with.

I mean I literally wrote the best way to probably do it and it was disregarded so you can;t say I made you guess what would work.

Lorelai kinda started off hostile and then grew more hostile.
You didn't make an attempt to break the cycle, infact, with how she commanded others in the little circle game she established herself as one nasty bitch that needs to be broken lest she hurts the others, though I think that was partially unintentional. That whole 'unhealable legs' is a bit extremly angsty for an erotic story.
Furthermore there is the line about she owing her deity allegiance first and foremost.

Anyway, enough of that, I see people are alright with Ventus, so I'll take a moment to think about a restart, right after the auction. If theres any srs problems or objections still then.. I'm frankly out of ideas.

Naira and I spoke, is ok with doing Ventus.. with another character. Also, good opportunity to check out Tentas new character, add them at a new end of the auction, that character is ready now ye?

I really wasn't even aware that anyone was having any more problems now to be honest. I thought all that had been cleared up. Although I really haven't been paying too much attention to the OOC thread here in over a week, to be fair.

I think what would work best going forward, regardless of what path the party takes, is that both sides are willing to tweak characters to fit with desires. We just want to feel like our hints and suggestions are being noticed and that NPCs will change their approach if it's going to be better for the eroticism.

Hmmnn yes, thing is, to be fair, for some people NOT getting what their character wants it the kink. *tips chin*

ok. step 1, wait on Naira remake and answer from Tenta.

step 2, Restart at the end of the auction.

step 3: moar communication, as necessary, to be honest I felt as if Ventus had gathered more interest, but three folks began swarming Merrium, what was I supposed to do. :p

Now to finish the story of Merrium for those interested: She's a vampire, infected in the parties last adventure, burried, but risen, following her old friends into the underdark with some disguising magic. Disguise self and a glibness spell is really all you need to beat even a good sense motive, though Lily was stumbling about the first inconsitencies.
She was a truly good soul and the priest who burried her had powerful magic that helped maintain her gentle soul somewhat, so now she has a split personality, one the vampiress, one the old her, in complete denial. In time the pcs would have learned this, as well as that she actually killed the slavers with her newfound strength and then, when they were horrified about the hin, enthralled and fed upon all of her partymembers,.. well, her alter ego did. Then, the ultimate moral choice would have been will you support someones dellusions, were they are happy and, more importantly, treat you well and in time perhaps even let you go, OR will you confront her, shatter what remains of her good half, giving her friends lost souls closure.. knowing that she'll be proper evil mistress afterwards, but finally understand whats going on.

I like to always write erotica together with a storyline, that way, if you aren't a huge fan of the erotica, you can still enjoy an interesting story, but, as you correctly concluded, Merrium was ment to be a harsher dom, so if you don't like on to Ventus we wander.. who also has more than the eye can see going on about her.

I don't know how quickly I can figure out what I want to do so I don't know if waiting on me will be ideal.

We've been over Step 3 before. At the time it was clearly stated to you that although characters were physically there, the only reason Lorelai was there was because my character suggested it, and I only moved to her to see what she was like, not to choose her. And In the one post I had before the decision was made, I made an OOC vote for ventus, and would have moved on to Ventus IC if I had been given more Roleplaying time to do so. This was ignored at the time. So trying to understand what players are actually requesting is what we're saying should be done. Just ask for clarification, don't feel the need to auto move the plot forward when there's still questions at the table.

I don't want to bash on Lorelai, shes well rounded, but I'm not sure were you see her going, erotically.

Alright, resetted, Zilrax, Naira, Tenta, no rush, I'll be starting things slow but ideally you have the new characters basics set up to join in for monday.. that enough?. I'll hold responses a little.

Yeah. I should have my character figured out and finished before tomorrow.
EDIT: How much different is spell combat from puppet combat and spell strike to charm strike. I am wanting to take suggestion as a spell but can only do so with a puppet master magus. Will I be taking much of a hit or losing out on much with the archetype from a normal/standard magus? If not that's what I'll go with, otherwise I'll just swap suggestion out with a different spell from the magus list. Thanks.

Depends on your plan. The problem with the Puppetmaster has always been you're mixing mind control with combat, and combat makes mind control harder for most spells. Suggestion less so.

You'll have far weaker combat strength in exchange for more versatility and a few more buffs. If this is acceptable, then do it. If not, I suggest sticking to standard Magus, or if you're solid on the mind control angle, switch to the Mind Murder kitsune sorceror build and get stupidly high MC dcs.

That being said, given our current party build, you could have incredible firepower if you combo Phantasimal Killer with our group. Between Ventus, Lily, and Lorelai, we can debuff the enemies save vs fear effects by about -10, meaning an almost guarunteed kill on a single target.

@Pervy My character is finally finished now whenever you're ready to bring me in. I'll be in class tomorrow morning (8am CST) but will be free afterwards and most of tonight.

I'll propably pretend you an earlier purchased or captured slave, together with Naira 'just waking up' If I can see no big issues with the character, that is.. *goes peek*

Driders aren't really intelligent slave traders but lets handwave that.

With that backstory I see her as CE. She may have had good reasons, but she's still CE.

I don't see your feats.

Rest looks fine.

Huh so Evening Glory sounds like an slightly distorted retelling of Lorelai's own goddess. Maybe it's a splinter sect or something. Wouldn't be the first time to happen.
