I think he's just republishing the uncensored HCG gifs. He posted some of them years ago on his patreon and back then I wanted to integrate them in the actual game but nobody ever shared them

knowing how every other update goes... its ether a new game over CG of a stage that was added last time,
or a new stage with 2 new enemies for H animations,
or just a boss fight. its only 1 of those 3.
 
I think some websites supporting authors, such as ci-en, enty and pateon, are stupid. They should not force authors to authorize their derivative works in the agreement, which makes some authors dare not publish works (especially pictures) on the website
 
I think he's saying that sites like patreon require any adult content to be locked behind a paywall. I don't think that's the same for subscribestar, and cien though.

I mean, these websites don't respect authors' intellectual property rights, They just want to extract value from the author.
For example: re created works.
In Japanese, it is called "Doujin", or toys related to it.
They can make it for sale without the author's consent, and the author can't get a cent from it.
So... Some authors don't want to license these things.

I can’t say for sure but umai neko advertises their games for purchase on dlsite, so I can’t imagine they’d do that if they weren’t making any money from it.

Also, apparently, a Fighting Girl Mei +R is planned. I assume after the next game they’ve showed off. Guess that’s why they’ve been posting CGs again.
 
Nice. I hope they don't have the creeping bust size problem again, or Mei's gonna be DD by the time the game comes out.

If you want to use [dlsite] or [Patreon] to promote your game, you need to sacrifice part of your rights. It's not free.
Of course, you can ignore these rights.
Because it may bring you a lot of fans.
You can make money by drawing CG. You can get funding for the production.
But I still think they don't respect the author. They should pay 50% of the license fee to the author as reward

Thought this was really weird so I looked into it and yikes does patreon ask for a lot "By posting creations on Patreon you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, perform, publicly display or prepare derivative works of your creation." Those are some pretty fucked up terms of use, although I don't think patreon has ever made anything using anyone else's IP still crazy to think they basically own it.
 
I may be the one to sound like a dumbass here, but that doesn't sound to me like they own the IP

They didn't get your IP, but you can't revoke the license.
They can use your work forever.
Note this: prepare derivative works of your creations.
They may also use your work as a basis for creating derivative works,
It's not as simple as they explain. I won't trust them.
 
Well the one saving grace for porn creators is that patreon more than likely won't make a deritive work of a porn game. That would probably land them in some real hot water once that's let out. For normal people though that's quite scummy. Sounds like they can take someone else's idea and then sell it to the highest bidder.
