I just got a chance to check out the demo and I really like the changes to the farm girl. Thanks for those!

Another minor issue that I've noticed for the boss: her "ultimate" attack that she does at low HP has a hitbox/animation mismatch. The hitbox extends well beyond the flame animation.

I use the largest frame for ultimate hitbox (the frame before the effect end). when the effect start small and become bigger each frame but the hit box use the largest frame at the beginning. That why you feel like hitbox is too big. :p

That isn't a good feeling for players.

Its better to have an enemy attack look like it hit but not register than to have an attack look like it misses but count as a hit. It feels confusing and unfair otherwise.

In an ideal world, a close hit/miss would do a percentage of the move's max damage. That isn't really feasible in an indie game I can understand. The best compromise is forgiving hitboxes.

Everything running smoothly, didn't have a single crash, which is usual when it comes to game maker 8 and newer windows.

The game is coming out great.

About the boss ultimate attack hitbox, I will fix it later

Gave it a play, didn't crash on my. Last version did crash, so not sure what changed, seems to be working alright so far.

Also I'd love you forever if any enemy wore anything resembling this :p

Crashes in gamemaker 8 are often due to many sounds playing at once.

saga55555 if you want to avoid people crashing in the future, you should either:

-migrate your game to gamemaker studio, shouldn't be too hard.
-use a third party sound engine, like FMOD.
-try to never have more than 10 sounds playing at once.

-try to never have more than 10 sounds playing at once.

I have to change some code if I use GMS and many people said GM8 is better because GMS not stable and many bugs.
Now,I use Caster(third sound engine) load game sound for prevent win8 crash :)

I don't have plan for enemy girls wearing that costume. The most similar may be maid custume :p

But if it ok, if a demon girl wearing that custome. I think colors are match for her :rolleyes:

I just finished making button_config but I still thinking should I make dash/guard separate button or not.

What do you think :confused:

Just play it again
I say even the normal is very easy compare to the early version
Didn't even die for once , even in the boss fight

I remember when the first demo is out , reaching to the boss I die 4-5 time
And 20 time in boss fight:D

I couldn't even imagine if I play easy:D

For the button , I vote for separate them

I dont think I chage the difficult that much. May be because you play it many times and know all girls move that why it too easy for you :D

I don't have a blog for now maybe make it later :p I want to to concentrate for stage-2 first. Um...Update ?

- Button Config
- Finish animation and coding for 2 new girls (only the boss left)
- Finish Draw all stage-2 backgrounds

Need to work before new demo release
- stage 2 BOSS
- +1 normal H animation for each boss
- Shop & Support Summon
- Save system

I will try to finish all of this in this month if I can :D

Update : Stage_02 gameplay is finished but still have to add more things

Need to do more :
- 2nd boss h-animation
- first demon girl, her support atk and h-animation
- some bug for background load :(

I decide to cancel shop system since it annoying to make each boss harder and harder with increase stat. And it will make early boss look easy. I want each boss not different much about difficult but have her own fight style so you have to use different method to defeat them.
But you will get new demon girls support attack when you clear stage. I plan for 4-5 supports attack. You will get the first one when you clear stage_02

I think new demo can finish in 1-2 week. I hope I can do it as I plan :D
