In all seriousness, you made your point. I was just suggesting that perhaps there's less provocative ways to look at things.

Lately I'm finding it difficult to actually despise or hate anything I disagree with (fictional content wise). Now I'm not saying you two hate movies, games or w/e you disagree with. I just don't believe that (as an example) this remake is going to affect anything, even if it turns out bad. It won't ruin the first film or the novel.

The way I see it, they're all their own form of content we can indulge in, but because we have a choice, there's no reason to shun the things we don't choose to enjoy.

Um... I think you've gotten my stance wrong in this. I said I generally don't like remakes or movies from other countries, simply because it doesn't feel as if the effort isn't always there.

Then I went on to mention movies I really enjoyed that were remakes (I think that the American titled "Let Me In" (remake of "Let the Right One In) is actually on par with the original. This could be because the director was going to the book and not the movie however). Hence, me waiting to see what else comes of this particular one, and not having a negative stance against the remake of this movie. Just a neutral position until I can see more.

I understood.

My point was pretty random, but more just to avoid bashing of the trailer. Not that you or Lup were bashing it, but I was afraid it would head that way from someone else.

Whatever though. Shit looks good. Plus the rendition of the 'Immigrant Song'... it's stuck in my head. I really hope they release it soon.

Finding out that the next book slated to come out in the series I *adore* is going to be the one for one of my favorite characters. Glee!

Only a day... but its Thursday, games come out on Tuesdays... unless its totally different over there.

Games generally release on a Friday in Britain. Especially big name games. It's most likely to do with people not working on a Saturday/Sunday so they can make more money. Haven't a clue why they release games in America/Canada on a Tuesday, that really doesn't make any sense to me.

And DNF is pretty awesome so far, as is all the bonus stuff I got with the collector's edition. I haven't got too far in it yet as I only went on it to try it out, though I do plan on spending most of the day on it tomorrow.

Just the shipment day for pretty much everything. Food, beer, games, DVDs... everything. So that's the release. Dunno why...

Something to do with they want it to be early, but everyone hates Mondays... (Some places take Monday off for this very reason)

Heh, no. I haven't fallen into that particular literary trap yet and I'm not certain I will, due to various reviews. Not entirely my cup of tea when it comes to fantasy lit. No, I was referring to the next Dark-Hunter book that's coming out.

Also, last night's giddy. Got my cousin into playing White Wolf with my friend and I and we got a character made. Now my surly, smartass, badass gets to be a mother hen to a new sin-eater. This'll be fun. And I got to free an angel.

Good game, my little brother bought the entire pack of it a while back.

What made me giddy today was finding out we had the boomerang channel as I was surfing and had to stop cuz I could have sworn the information said the program was "SWAT Kats" and I was like Hmm that can't be right that hasn't been on since OMG THATS FUCKING SWAT KATS!

A little plus side to my last hate: So now my sister is obsessed with DnD after playing for the first time. Pretty sure she'd going to buy all the stuff we need to form our own group. I'll probably be stuck being GM most of the time, but good enough maybe.

It is a good game.

As for today's giddy... local comic shop is showing their support for gay pride parade by painting a sign of the rainbow... but each colour has the symbol of that colour's lantern corp form DC's the Green Lantern.
