What's new

ACT PUZ Vore Loli Ryona Guro [窓惑工房 / Window Frame] Dysthanasia (RJ01199228)

I did a quick AI search and it sounds like you need 2-3 weeks to get the identity verification and there is a 30-day cooldown before your game is eligible for release. Then 3-5 days to approve the steam page, 3-5 days before Steam tests & approves your build, 3-5 days to resubmit if you screwed up.

So if true, maybe up to a month time was wait for Steam alone, the rest depends on how often his game was rejected by Steam.
As for what the dev has been doing this whole year, I assume implementing modular R18G content (removing and adding it via a patch?), expanding story / gameplay further, bugfixing, doing a lot of real life stuff to stay alive until the game can be released?

Very glad it's finally coming out. The game itself looks mostly the same as before with new areas and new enemies. I wonder if he designed even more game over scenes in this time?

With the new VISA censorship I doubt this will get released now...
Truly what a world we live in. LMAO...

they're releasing the game without any of the CGs or clothing destruction, it'll just be a rudimentary horror puzzle game. They're looking at other ways to distribute a patch later on. Furthermore its in the hands of a publisher that already has the greenlight approval from steam, they just need to post the game is all

"The official release date will be announced at a later date, but you won't have to wait too long."
Which means we'll be waiting for a long time again before we get news that the game has been pushed back again, or something else is blocking its release.

"I apologize for the long gap and for causing you concern.
As you may know, we are currently in the midst of a very unstable situation,"
That's putting it lightly. It looks like every government simultaneously decided to speedrun making their population to go French Revolution on their dumb asses.

I'd be hyped, but fool me once...twice...thrice...
Anyway, with Steam involved, this should be the final release date.

Creator wants to post more info within these 10 days, if possible.

Amazing. Thanks a lot for the info.
Odd they're already uploaded, these are for the pre-release versions of reviewers / beta testers or something?

EDIT:
Main Additions/Differences in the R18G version:
-different default costume from the standard Ver.
-2 unlockable costumes (different from the 2 in the Standard Version)
-Alternate cut scenes, gameplay sequences, and monster graphics
-33 different game over scenes
Seems the reason the developer went silent for so long is because it has all the planned DLsite version content, plus a large amount of new content, and a general quality overhaul.
I guess I should buy the game day 1, just in case it pisses off the virtue signalers.

One more quick one before the game should release. Who's up for some fun?

I've been saving this all year, waiting to use it in case we had a drought of posts or new content, but I never got around to actually putting it together.

On today's episode of Out Of Bounds...

Before the bathrooms that contain the vent that you escape through, there is another room with a broken door. This room contains another vent that leads into the same vents you come in and out of; it's in the blocked-off left turn when you go through the vent normally.

ScreenShot00030.jpg ScreenShot00032.jpg
After you grab the key in the dog's room, the game actually switches out that whole part of the map for an almost identical version, where the hallway you used to get there no longer exists.
The two versions of this area of the game both exist at the same time; the unused level is placed above the one currently in use.
ScreenShot00034.jpg ScreenShot00035.jpg

This level is actually a LOT larger than what we have access to in the demo. The Fly's room is massive, with its walls visible from anywhere outside this area of the map.
You can actually see the boundaries of the fly's room in a glitched/missing section of ceiling later on.
The long red room after the fly actually teleports you to an identical copy on the opposite side of the level, near the entrance to the basement. This first picture is from the room you get teleported to, near the entrance (396/Aoi is near the stairs, you can barely see her floating on the right), so we are actually seeing the fly's room from across the map.
ScreenShot00039.jpg
A random test room is floating out of bounds.
ScreenShot00040.jpg
The other walkway we can see in the fly's room actually has an existing entrance, however it is in one of the rooms blocked by a gurney.
ScreenShot00049.jpg
ScreenShot00050.jpg
ScreenShot00053.jpg

Splitting this into multiple posts because you can only attach 10 images.

This is the area where you can see outside the map. What you are looking at is the walls to the Fly's room.
ScreenShot00058.jpg A random valve and some pipes? Judging by a previously released trailer, this game may contain a game over similar to one in Xenophobia where the character has to turn a valve before she proceeds through a room, or else she gets showered in acid. I was thinking maybe these assets have something to do with that?
ScreenShot00059.jpg The Marionette is spawned in and waits for you to open the door to its area before becoming active.
If you teleport in, the AI stays deactivated.
While deactivated, it stands in place, and if you walk in front of it before its AI activates, it will still turn to keep you in its FOV. The main character still freaks out when spotted by the deactivated AI.
ScreenShot00062.jpg
There is a "hitbox" on the other side of the final door in the demo that brings up the end screen.
Hypothetically, if you were somehow able to get to the other side of the door and walk through without activating the "demo over" screen...
It's hard to see, but Aoi is at the first (it looks like second because of previous screenshot's perspective) left turn down the hallway after the door.
ScreenShot00066.jpg
At the end of the hall, there's an elevator. It opens.
ScreenShot00067.jpg
But in the demo, it takes you back near the starting area.
ScreenShot00071.jpg

So if you've explored the demo enough, you'll know that deeper into the Marionette's room, down a couple corridors there are extra halls, but they're like, blocked off by fences, right?
ScreenShot00073.jpg
At the bottom of this screenshot here, Aoi is with the deactivated Marionette where it spawns.
So about those fences...
ScreenShot00074.jpg
ScreenShot00075.jpg
Entire sections of the level were being culled in and out of render distance as I moved the camera around out of bounds, I don't think I captured the whole section in this next one.
You can still see her in the same place on the right here.
ScreenShot00076.jpg
This unused section unfortunately seems to have no hitboxes. Attempting to teleport in here puts Aoi out of bounds, above the "ceiling" of this section.
However I've got some cool ones for the final post, as a little teaser...

For my third post, some other stuff I found that I thought was interesting.

I got a screenshot of the inside of the tentacle locker.
Aoi has to be naked for this event to even trigger, so I tried to censor her some clothes on similar to the Steam release.
ScreenShot00003 censored2.jpg
During the game over inside the tentacle locker, the "room" this scene takes place in is actually back way above floor 1.
Aoi is visible nude in this screenshot, but she's all of 10 pixels (I counted) and it looks like she has huge breasts due to the placement of one pixel, so I think this one shouldn't be a problem for rulebreaking anywhere?
In the lower left, there is another room I found interesting. It is the grey/blue blocky looking room.
ScreenShot00004.jpg
Here's a wide shot of the basement, with some parts culled out.
ScreenShot00084.jpg
That grey/blue room is on the upper right here.
ScreenShot00085.jpg
And inside of that grey/blue area.
There's an unused hallway that I can't seem to get inside of. Despite there being overhead office lights inside like on floor 1, the hallway is completely black and you can't see anything without some fancy help from Aoi and her flashlight.
There's a door on one of the walls, but otherwise just an unused map asset.
ScreenShot00086.jpg

Inside that unused area outside the Marionete's lair are some... Interesting hallways.
ScreenShot00077.jpg
ScreenShot00079.jpg
But where does it all lead?

THE TIME HAS COME
also that's cool, BapZap, hopefully you'll do the same with the full game as well, eventually

btw so early on and i'm already fucking lost i can't believe this but where do i go after reaching the door that needs a code to open?

also wish we could get all the costumes in the patched version

EDIT: you have to

use vision to see the numbers in that same room lol
also you can trap enemies behind doors it's funny
hmmm and i think enemies maybe don't detect you if you run holding s? an enemy behind a door doesn't detect me if i run near him with s, only with w

Game completed.

I only have one thing to say: Fuck the final (but not final-final) stage.

Being hounded by flying ghosts that OHK while trying to navigate an honest to God looping and random teleport maze with the fog cranked to max trying the find a "Key" with no identifying markers is PAIN. Then you have to RE-navigate the maze after finding the "Key" to reach the final-final stage (which was fine, certainly much easier than the maze). They could at least unlock the full gallery if you beat the game.

EDIT: Also, this is probably me exclusive, but I had a game-breaking bug which caused a door to refuse to open. I had to teleport past it to continue the game.

I've been reading into the lore as I play, really trying to figure things out.

You could say the developer HAS been "working on" Xenophobia all this time...

Allright. I bought it to support the dev. Let's see if it's worth the waiting and 20 bucks.
It sucks that the patch is still censored. I tried finding the mosaic shader with 3dmigoto but I failed. Maybe someone with experience modding UE4 games can help.
Somehow the full game feels worse than the demo. In the demo you could walk backwards while facing the mc by holding alt I think.
