Every single post on Patreon does not say the "game will be delayed out the next few week or month." That is simply not true. Since January 2015, I've ran multiple content polls, there have been teaser posts with pics and gameplay ideas, there have been lore posts detailing the world/monsters. None of those had anything about the game's release. Beyond that, I've only given ONE release date since last August, that was December 30th, 2015.

Yes, I've been utterly terrible at coming up with release dates. I've not given release dates for that reason. "Mid-may" was the first release estimate I've given since I went part-time and actually have had set time each week to work. I'd mentioned in the past that I was done with release estimates until that was the case. Unfortunately, as I stated, I had food poisoning two weeks ago. I was pretty confident at that point the release was probably less "Mid-May" and more "Late May."

I've ran the first pledged update on Patreon. I ran it because the game was near enough to release that I felt comfortable doing so. It will be released soon. The translation will be released soon. You will get one of them in May, hopefully both. Eight days and counting, I'm going back to work :p

While I agree with you, the difference this time is that he actually ran a pledged update (for the first time ever). This means that if he doesn't release the demo this month, he's actually going to lose credibility and not just get peoples' hopes up. He's actually got a hard deadline this time, with a maximum of one more week to go.

EDIT: Damn it YT, you can't beat me to that explanation or else I just seem bitter!

Well, for getting both of them this month (and ch.1 needs to be beta-tested first) looks like the beta will start veeeeeeery soon, am I right? I hope I'm right *_*

I thought he wasnt going to charge until after ch 1 was out for ch 2+ etc
At least that was my understanding from reading his past comments on here...this one included.

I don't seen every patreon post i only seen free one one so maybe i am a little distorted by that. ;) (so because i can't seen that i have feeling to have only date promise in patreon) Fo the food be careful i know it is one the main home problem for people i have studied in biology few years ago.

I"m not too worried. I had a kickstarter that suffered alot of delays and setbacks for like 2 yrs but they eventually got product out to my satisfaction even when other people were upset. I just didn't care. I'm not sure if this is a good post to make or not at all.

Most ppl easily get very angry about thing when they have money invested. Am so hoping to see the game till the end of the week ^^.

The easiest way to avoid the waiting angst blues is to find another game to play in the meantime, dogging the thread every day will make the wait seems longer than it actually is.

You lie, I've already lost all credibility when it comes to release dates :p

@Azope: Ah, that makes a lot more sense. Yes, the public posts probably are more focused on missing release dates. Oops.

@MasterQ2: Pretty much no way a public release will make it this month. A Patreon release is not out of the question though. Damn artwork, why do I draw so ssssslllllloooooooowwwwwww...

@Cvonsuela85: Excellent advice. Lots to play out there, the English market is coming along quite nicely. Distract yourself. Unlike past dates, where I was off by months, that is not the case this time. I really am wrapping things up, there just is so much God damn stuff to do. Just when I think I have a final list of things to do, I remember some damn thing I'd put off because I didn't want to deal with it. I feel sorry for the poor schmuck who is helping me with the system stuff, as I keep emailing him saying, "Oh yea, forgot about this, can you look at it asap?" Yep, I'm a bastard.

Haha, me too! At least there is ONE game that has been delayed more than mine. Whew! Oh, and I guess Dungeons and Prisoners :D

Duke Nukem Forever did manage to get released few years ago. I thought Earth was going to meet it's end because of it. Thank goodness it didn't otherwise..

It's weird, the longer they game gets delayed (hear me out, not complaining!), the more I plan to channel my frustration into Aylia herself. "Oh, you're not releasing this week?, that's fine I will do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure you are groped/prodded/taken advantage of by all kinds of horny monsters!"

At this stage, I don't have very high hopes for Aylia's purity by the time chapter 1 is done!

Hmm, I'm pretty sure you're already aware of this but I just want to reiterate it: Most of us are waiting for Aylia's story, and I don't think we would mind seeing the translation pushed back. I know that I personally would be rather disappointed if we received the translation first with Aylia's story being pushed back instead.

Either way, best of luck, I'm still checking every day! Hopefully I'll have a day or two off around the release date.
