Anyone knows what zell has been up lately? I haven't heard of Shiro no Yakata or FOBS in a while :I
 
to elaborate abit further, him and ansala both agreed the last demo would be the last. we just have to wait until it's done. he shows off some game mechanics and balance stuff sometimes, but as far as i've seen, only using enemies in the demo. as for FOBS, he's making new enemies and sex scenes, and remaking afew of the older ones. his fantai is where you'll find these.

A bit of an odd decision to have no more demos IMO since the demos we have are very bare in terms of what the game is actually about. However Succubus Affection was fantastic so I'm honestly not that worried.

I'm worried that they added jumping.
I'm also worried that they're looking to games like Clocktower as reference for what they can do regarding the horror mechanics.

Succubus Affection is Ansala's baby on a game dev front. He did all of the action combat design decisions, and he's the one who decided that the protagonist initiates all the sex that leads to forming contracts.
SnY is more Zell's, and Zell has a good mind for gimmiks which work well in a horror setting.

I'm slightly worried overall. I really don't think the game will be a complete failure, but I don't see them playing to the horror theme outside of the superficiality of the music and general tone.
 
the demo's were only a gallery and 1 chase scene so yeah not really much there to call it a game demo more like a display of animations
 
does anyone know if zell plan on bringing the finished games to steam? no offense but I don't really want to pay for a subscription service thats not worth it. but I would be more than willing to buy them.

Zell will just put it up for sale on DLsite again like they did Succubus Affection. Buy it there when he does.

well Succubus Affection happen on steam because Kagura Games do the translation work and as publisher there. unless they decide to take this game too then the chance for this game on steam might be rather astronomical.
 
Its a near certainty that anything zell sells in the future will be on Kagura, Succubus Affection was one of their best selling games iirc, that said, it will likely come months later as Dlsite usually gets the first crack at it. I personally bought Succubus Affection twice, once on Dlsite when it was initially released and afterwards on Kagura for the uncensored art and the official translation. I feel like Zell deserves it since Fobs is free.

Depends on how much text is in the game I'd say.
Succubus Affection surprisingly had a lot.

Civism begins with the respect of basic rules. Failure to comply to these basic rules usually begets a (justified) lack of civism in response.

Now let's leave this thread in peace for any relevant information. Let's not have people get notifications for stuff they don't wan't to come across. Examples here (right now), and above.

When someone needlessly bumps a thread for link begging, which is a ban-able offense, I'm allowed to be as uncivilized as I please.

Also based on his fantia, Zell has shifted gears from Shiro no Yakata back to FOBS.
