What's new

RPG RPG Maker [hakkaku] テイル・アンダークラスト -ハスミと最後の7日間- / THE TALE OF UNDERCRUST ~The Last 7 Days of Hasumi~ (RJ212896)

Awesome! I loved the premise of the first game, I hope they build on it to make the next one even better!

So this is a really specific request. Does anybody have a save file for the Harness and Futa dungeons? I just wanna see that stuff cause apparently the items don't work in the gallery.

i have a mixed feeling with the sequel, firstly the genre change really concern me, all of action game have a short and bad story and h scene, sure it was compensated with the gameplay but if i want a great gameplay i'll play my PS4 console not some indie game. But the author really have a great writing skill so i hope it doesn't affect the story.

and secondly, i somehow love his art for the 1st game, sure the new art really great and we can see the improvement, but erm... the first one looks more sexy for me i think?

Been far too exhausted recently to even try to comprehensively translate the storyline, but the gist of the storyline I guess:

In 2082, a bigass meteor crashed into Fuji in Japan. From the crater, mysterious hostile creatures began to appear. At first, they would be relatively contained; however, by the turn of the 22nd century (Jan 1 2101 just past midnight), a huge number of meteorites would rain down upon Earth, guided by EM waves from the 2082 meteor, each giving birth to more and more mysterious hostile extraterrestrials, quickly overwhelming the separate bickering nations, as fragmented as we are. To prevent the threat from happening in the first place, a 5th-generation Android made in 2124, "Marco", is sent back to the past, to Dec 24 2100. The robot's mission is to seek out a willing partner, head to the crater made by the 2082 meteor, and destroy the meteor to stop the meteorite rain. He encounters (and rescues) a random rebellious-age schoolgirl, Hasumi Shiori, whose reaction to his request is more-or-less "Oh, okay. Sounds fun. Let's do it." Thus their journey down the crust of the earth begins.

There's far more to the story than this, of course; the state of the world, Marco's backstory, Hasumi's reckless and impulsive behavior, interaction with the soldiers and researchers within the JSDF base by Mount Fuji, and so on and so forth, but I'm tired.

This is honestly one of my favorite RPG Maker games out there yet I've played through without understanding any of the text. So I'm still pretty much clueless on how the actual story goes.

I wish someone would translate this game though. Not that I'd have anything but gratitude for whoever would translate it.

I posted a complete save file a few pages back. It should still work and you can backtrack to the other areas from there.

Man, I wish this game got a translation. Does her hypnosis by the hooligans at the beginning have anything to do with her being so accepting of the request from Marco?

The Futa dungeon gets completely locked out once you finish it.

No, you can still go back. There are crystals which you can use to warp around the dungeon due to how the story breaks the natural flow of how it works. I personally went back to all the dungeons after I beat the game and reexplored them all to look for any treasure chests I might have missed.

There are no statements in the game that confirm or deny your question, but from the flow of the conversation, I would assume that the hypnosis has already ceased function, and Hasumi is being herself.

I won't deny the possibility that the fact Marco saved her from being dragged off somewhere unpleasant, and the fact she's arguably still recovering from hypno-rape, might have influenced her decision, but I'd say her decision (going on ahead before Marco even had the chance to explain what he wanted to do) mainly stems from her family issues. You can see some of this in the narration after the opening H-scene-

(rough translation via cleaned-up machine translation)
"Why'd things turn out this way?"

"On this holy night, a miracle should've happened."

"That's what's written in that magazine's horoscope section."

"(I) wanted to run away.
From that meticulously trimmed garden,
From that tablecloth set without a single crease,
From that neatly sorted bookshelf in my room,"

"From that daily life without a single hint of freedom..."

"...I'm so stupid."

"(Compared to) a stupid article from a stupid magazine..."

"Right now I'm even more stupid."

"Miracles don't happen, do they..."

They also posted a video on how that trap works.

Their blog is a bit of a hassle to navigate. They have like, entire conversations to scroll through and since I can't read the moonrunes I have to scroll and scroll and scroll until I find links or various things that might show bits of the game.

How do I get back to it? I feel like I must be picking the wrong dungeon then cause I'm just basing it off an old memory.

This game has been moved to the H-Section for deletion due to a lack of gameplay explanation. If you wish to preserve this thread, PM a moderator with an updated description.

Here's your chance, @Fenril!
Someone somewhere has a secret archive... Yaay! ;)

Edit - Thread moved back.

And I am glad for that and glad this thread is back.

Although admittedly I didn't realize any of this was going on in the first place and I haven't been here for a couple days. So all this happened when I wasn't looking. Again. But I'm not complaining though.

Gotta say, this game has been one of my absolute favorites in the genre for years now, both due to appealing to my *cough* personal interests and for how well-written it was overall. Did NOT expect to learn about geology from porn, yet here we were!
Quietly hyped for the sequel, although the lack of text inherent in 2d platformers worries me.

EDIT: Visiting the blog, it seems an alpha version demo has been released. Wow.
