Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Those games were awesome!!! I can't believe someone else played them.
Apparently, (according to my senile father,) somewhere in this CD-dump of a computer room, there exists a CD containing the full versions of Math and Word Rescue. If I actually manage to find them, I’ll put up a copy. (Or, I should say, won't put up a copy, as that would be illegal...)

GamesDude: Doom was fun, but I always preferred Duke. Probably has something to do with the basically naked women and far less ‘enemies spawn behind you whenever you pick up any item, ever’. Diablo 1 I loved. In some ways, I actually prefer it to the sequel; I can’t really put my finger on what ways, though.

Newbie: Gauntlet: Dark Legacy was pretty fun, I had the ‘cube version. Stubbs was indeed awesome, I’m just annoyed I can’t find the CD I left the ISO on, I never did get the chance to really play much of it.

I wonder if anyone out there other than me knows of the MAME emulator, or otherwise had the chance to grow up playing beauties like ‘Elevator Action’ and ‘Rampage’ on their home computers…

My first game was the very first super mario on the NES, and my very first confirmed book was the SMB3 strategy guide. Thus began my dark and iron fisted rule over the entertainment of my family, all have been crushed under my heel! My grandmother attempted to rise up against me in tetris but I smote her, 75 times in a row mwahahahaha!!!! (We bet a dollar a match, she still won't even consider playing games with me. Plus just watching mario kart makes her puke.)

My first game was Mario/Duckhunt on the NES. It was awesome. I'd play with my dad in Duckhunt until the dog annoyed me so much that we had to play Mario for me to calm down >.<

Also, I love putting peanut butter and cottage cheese on crackers/toast =3

Yes, that damn dog was shot by me so many times. I played it all day the first christmas I got it, with my grandpa. I lost every game, I swear he couldn't miss and he wasn't even trying.

I get to fly home in three days, after spending four months at college, twelve hours away.

Hot chocolate.

You have not lived, not experienced winter, untill you have frozen your ass off outside and come inside to a nice, warm, hot chocolate with a candy-cane in it.

Not much for candy canes, but I gotta try it. I used to have a mint cocoa mix that was delicious but we can't get our hands on it anymore.
But yes, probably the biggest thing about me is my love for hot chocolate.

haha, I remember specifically during a heat wave in the summer, my dad, his friend and his son went golfing and did 27 holes. Afterwards we went out to dinner and I ordered a hot cocoa and the entire restaurant stopped like out of a movie to stare at me.
I almost shouted at everyone "What? I want the taste, not refreshment, that's why you gave me a giant glass of water." Looking back, it was actually kind of embarassing

That's HILARIOUS. I probably would have looked at you like you were a crazy fuck too. Then and again I'm coming from up north where I go out in below-freezing weather in shorts and sandals. I'll draw the line when it gets below zero (F, -11 or 15 C), but anything above that is fair game for summer gear.

Wewt! Me too! Well. I'm in Britain so it rarely gets that cold and I hate shorts, but I went out tonight, there was ice all over the floor, it was snowing (kinda) and I was in a T-Shirt, a pair of cargo trousers which were full of holes and tears (below the knee anyway...), slip-on shoes (also full of holes) and mah favourite hat. I got stared at and a lot of "You fucking crazy bitch!" etc etc but too them I say, "It's not cold! I've been in cold, and this is not it!"

I've already said I love the cold, so this time, its I love mah Pokemon team, Snips, Meryl, Shadow, Flare, Stomper and Bolt!

I love this loadout screen I downloaded for Left 4 Dead.

And yes, it was quite a difficult choice between that and the Fresh Prince one in the video responses.
