Darn penguins and their being so adorable no matter what they do, it's too bad you can't have penguins as pets. Than again maybe it's a good thing because the entire population would be living with me otherwise.

I love that the love thread is getting some love again. Seriously, the post at the top of the page is from March.

I love orange juice mixed with Midori.

Also, I love the fact that I'm going to have a job next month.

Love my ST. She's given me a cat-boy.

I also love how I managed to motivate my one D&D player into travelling. She was in attendence of an Ebaki play (which, in my game, is sort of a silent-with-music Noh sort of theater.) Her charrie, a bard, caught sight of the one instrument the one performer was using. "Where can I get one of those? Can I get one here?" "I've only seen them among troupes, unless you're in my home country proper." To her guardian: "I want one! Can we go get one?" "Aiz, it means crossing the ocean." "I don't care." "In a boat." "I don't care." "Over the water." "I don't care!" "All right, I'll make the preparations."

So, she's not out to save the world. She's not out to defeat a big-bad. She's on a quest to get herself a new toy...

I love it.

((Granted, the plot of her campaign is to actually find a way to lift the curse that's been placed on her, so the usual plot hooks don't apply. I just think it's hilarious that I'm getting the charrie that's terrified of the ocean to cross it because she wants a shiny.))

I'm actually refering to the tabletop game I play. And no, I don't think anything 4th edition exists around here (with good reason *will not go off on that tear*) but we do have a Pathfinder game that happens now and again.

Haven't played Kirby in forever, but I do remember enjoying it.

Just watched Joss Whedon's (the guy behind Buffy and Firefly/Serenity) Dollhouse over the last few days. It's only two seasons but they did a damn good job with it. I loved the whole damn thing.

Really good job with the final episode too.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

I fucking love working for a living.

Really. No sarcasm. This is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Okay, I'm still on a budget but I can at least pay my bills this way. I have a job. I'm a contributing member of society and I'm FREE. Maybe not free to goof around the house all day, but I did enough of that when I couldn't find a job. And yeah my feet hurt like a bitch and people are obnoxious sometimes... but JOB. BWEE! And people respect me now. Like, I had this lady come in, obnoxious. I made a comment about how CO2 attracts gnats and mosquitoes and she said she didn't need advice from a Cashier. Well, I told her this was putting me through college and as she paid with her food stamps she looked a little green around the gills and apologised for putting me down, and wished she had a job so she could "get off of the stupid Goverment assistance." I smiled and assured her that one day she would.

The person behind her was all admiring and stuff, and told me he wouldn't have been able to be that polite and wished he had my self control.

THIS JOB IS GREAT.
