ACT Guro [D-lis] Night of Revenge / 魔女は復讐の夜に (RJ405582)


Well, hentai with no story... Guess we can tell VN maker like frontwing to take it easy.
I mean, Fruit of Grisaia is a 60 hours + VN with about 15 H scenes. It's all the story. Hentai part is a bonus.

It's true that most H rpg maker made, and most H action game don't bother much with the story.
But if you don't care for story / gameplay (...), just get H anime or H cg set :D

bonus edit: this DOES have a story btw, its not VN level of story (althosome VN is just fuck n done but hey, its hentai not bedtime story, not all game have good plot n thotout story)

Nope it actually doesn't (yet) ...

While my back and forth with the dude who claimed hentai doesn't need a story started because of THIS game, he was actually right that this game doesn't really have any story as of yet... While that is due to the game's WIP status he still was technically right...

What he wasn't right about though is the fact that there are many dialogues and situations that imply the presence of the greater plot behind the scenes that might or might not come depending on the storytelling style D-lis decides to roll with.

What i mean by that is the fact that there are games out there that are totally able to tell a story trough exactly just that... the minimalistic "show, don't tell" approach. The prime example for something like that would probably be Dark Souls i guess, while in hentai It would be the awesome Viotoxica (that game did it's storytelling trough it's choice and aesthetics of locations, their names, the whole situation the main heroine found herself in, and ultimately the player's lust to know just what the fuck happened to that kingdom and what's with all the abominations there)...

Aside from all that, the dialogue in Night of revenge actually makes even the H-scenes just plain hotter, like watching the nuns in the cathedral initially hating the degrading act they are subjected to, but also secretly enjoying it just a bit (or the dialogue might be taken to imply something like that).

What i'm ultimately trying to say is that Hentai (the high quality one at least) is more about the situation rather than anything else...

You see there is a very big difference between hentai and porn in general... In porn all you're after and all you can get is instant gratification and nothing else, while in hentai depending on the genre and the sort of content (whatever it is a game, a visual novel, etc, etc) you can have other elements that might be just as important or even more so than the sexual elements like the art, the music, the style of H-scenes, the style of presentation, and a million other details that might or might not have anything to do with sexual themes but together form a singular whole and thus something that unlike porn can actually be seen as a work of art.

There i said it... Hentai can be and to many people is ART, because it isn't something catering to people who just want mindless sexual gratification without even an ounce of deviation or innovation of the tried and true formula (most of the time anyway). If you can't understand something like that, than maybe you should just go back to pornhub or whatever, no offense of course...

As for this particular game, as i said previously it might seem like there is nothing more to it than just the H-content, but that is just because of it being so early in development and any other sort of content like the actual story or the lore is something that will come later on...

Aw man, I wanted to partake, at least just telling saying that in my experience, the original lust doll has more text to describe the situation than cgs. Also indivi's illustration on mc was more to western porn approach. Still fap to the game more than some other hentai games.

Back to topic is issued, so... How d-lis progress amid the pandemic? Yeah I know this is forced.

So anyone using auto translator Rei patcher version? cause i wanna ask on how to turn on the auto translator for framework like text bubbles that appeared when the time stop enemy is doing the ice witch enemy. thanks in advance.
 
This game actually has more story than I expected it to ever offer back when it had only a few enemies, not that I ever cared. I think the h-scenes have changed more than anything: the first few enemies were kinda wack but still the more tried and true genre, whilst now I feel like it's tame if it doesn't involve a 12 foot tall swamp gorilla, straight up death, some level of necro, black magic or something that looks like it belongs in a domestic violence PSA. Not my taste, but that aside you can really see how it's changed even outside of it's dark souls-ish elements.
edit: and yes I'm acutely aware of what this dev likes to make considering his twitter and previous game.

We're at version 0.37, and things have become quite a bit more substantial - over 20 enemies, 11(?) areas, multiple weapons plus upgrades, a bunch of spells, and no english interface. That said, it's still far from done, and development continues to be a bit slow - well, a bit slower than before, but the reason for that is obvious.
 
I don't remember anymore, is she supposed to be a witch or an alchemist?

Japanese mythology usually classifies witches as a type of yokai (which is part of why all of the spellcaster girls get really pissy over being called witches).
