Idk Im pretty sure Nona drowns in the mermaid game over. Granted, I would love to be used by a group of cute mermaids

The ending rather implies that she keeps surviving long enough for the swamp mermaid eggs to gestate and hatch inside her, most likely achieved by the swamp mermaids constantly giving her air by kissing her.
That, or the semen-filled water in the royal chamber just has those life-giving properties.
