i don't think you understand the argument, it's about "official" people making "shitty" translation for a good games then people decided to not bother on making a "decent" one because "there's already an official one"
all RPGM are MTL'd before getting real translation? tell that to Kagura Games, or maybe those fan translation project before era of MTL tool that have been booming this late years

why not start with the based original unfucked one? because Noble already quote it that the Steam version seems to have more additional content and bug fixed that don't exist in DLsite. to not miss a content it's obvious that it's better to just start from the latest which is fixing the "shitty" one because the original one lack few of content and update

If this is genuinely what you think, then you're either underage of mentally impaired.
Lemme know when "every rpgmaker game ever" gets that fixed, proper TL. Because until then, many games stay with MTL because "well it's better than nothing" couples with "well it already has a TL" quite well, you will find.

As an example, Sakurako Matrix came out in 2011 and got MTL'd. Where is the "real" translation? Who is going to do it? Nobody, because it already has a translation.
MTLs kill real translations.

To you too, Noble 6, and actually, as you can see, i did not understand the argument, which now that i do, thanks to Mick, if you read again you'll notice i actually agree. Mick, you have my thanks.
But anyway, it's as DarkFire says, i just wanted to apologize. No more derailing.

It's nice to see this game is coming along. From a story and art perspective, their previous work is one of the most charming games i've played. Though i personally still feel it's very sad that it's not voiced. And last time i checked this one was not, either, is that still so?

I'm wondering about this too. In all the versions of the game I've played up till now you just had to beat the first boss. But now I'm level 10 and have beat him 4-5 times and the northern town exit is still blocked.

EDIT: Seems bugged. Some comments on the Cien site were saying to download the demo, move your save data to the demo then load it, an event will trigger that opens the barrier (if you've beaten the first boss), then save, then move the data back to the full game.

EDIT2: It worked.

Not brought the game yet but have you tried speaking to everyone in town? I imagen there is some story element you need to progress that was not present in the older ci-en versions.
