If you want to provide a link for EVERY thread and keep them updated/working then go right ahead, I'll even edit them into the OPs. Short of that we won't be requiring the OP to have a link to a download of the game.

Since you're the one who started derailing this thread I shall speak from personal experience
1. This is a pir@te site where people share links and expect to find links like they do on every other forum
2. Nobody reads the rules. Deal with it. We expect it to be just like every other similar forum
3. 20+ begging posts is indeed a delirious exaggeration and if it ever happens it's because #6.
4. op's should be able to moderate their own threads
5. I've seen people getting banned for asking for lost mod links which is clearly NOT against the rules
6. op must include at least one working download link. That's the whole point of the game thread. Unless including a link goes against the rules regarding questionable content it should be mandatory. Look at f95. It requires a gazillion mirrors not just one link so people won't go asking for links whenever a mirror breaks. By the time all mirrors break the thread will either be dead and locked or refreshed with new version.
7. People who go on asking the same thing over and over again when the information they ask for is even one post above theirs or pinned in the op should be instabanned. They are the real problem. Nobody asks you to read hundreds of pages on a thread created many years ago. Only the last 5-10 pages which usually contain all the updated information if the op has abandoned the thread. This should be common sense.
8. People are often too stupid to even formulate a proper question but expect someone to guess what they want and spoon feed them. You can't fix people.

We have news.

Dysthanasia has been officially announced for release, on mainline Steam. Yes, Valve Software's Steam store.
More than that, there are pictures on social media of the game currently being demoed as I write this on a 100-inch projection screen, in public, in front of a live audience at

I was just trying to get the game running on a Steam Deck days ago. (Performance was terrible, but probably because I didn't get far enough to turn graphics settings down.)
I wouldn't even believe it if someone else told me, so here, have some picture attachments.

I don't think it would have been the full uncensored version. From the picture I attached it looks like it might have been in a demo reel where they show a mashup of prerecorded demo footage - it could have been as little as 3 seconds of the character walking through the hallway pictured, for all we know.
If it really is coming out on Steam, the dev is probably going to pull the same old trick that a lot of hentai games do to get on Steam, where they do release a legitimate game on the Steam platform but have an off-Steam "patch" that "adds extra content"
Games I know of that did this are HuniePop and Magical Girl Konoha, but Konoha's unpatched Steam version is supposedly unplayable (the dev literally cut out all the 18+ content, to allow it on steam, even if it meant a broken version of the game)
Notice in the picture, 396 is wearing a different patient gown than in the demos previously released; this one has pants/shorts and appears (to me) to be hastily/lazily made, as if to serve as a quick "cover up" to satisfy some censorship or "modesty" rule.
This would appear to be one of those valid loopholes that can't be closed, as the off-store "patch" could fall under game modding, and if you're dumb enough to attack games for modding questionable content in, then good luck taking Skyrim down.

I didn't notice before, I guess we can confirm the game has still been being worked on and developed, as there is proof of a new build; zoom in on the picture of the steam deck in my last post; the text that previously said DEMO VERSION 0.21 now says Trial version. Maybe we're actually getting closer to a real release? At this point I'll believe it when I see it.
Also notice the company logos displayed beside the game demos...
Both companies are under Sanuk Inc. which ran/sponsored the whole event, from what I can tell?
Henteko Doujin is a publisher on Steam, they publish regular Japanese games on Steam
Sanuk itself seems to be the larger publisher and the one that publishes "all ages" versions of Japanese games. (

Notably, Dysthanasia isn't shown on the page even though it was demoed. However, I don't see any of the other games it was displayed with on their page either. Randomax and Akiragoya are up on Steam, but they weren't on the exhibition page.

Clothes went from medical apron (whatever the correct term is) only to actually covering the lower body with shorts.
Also, Steam will not allow 18+ games with lolis/teens, so this is 100% a fully sfw version. Possibly very different death scenes (if any), too.

No details on release date yet, but internet searches tell me that games are OK to release on Steam very soon after passing review. (I don't know anything about putting games on Steam)
As we already knew, the dev is moving forward with an all ages version of Dysthanasia, with an external patch being made available at some point.

The dev also posted an update on Ci-En with a new trailer for the R-18 version of the game, no new H-scenes, but showing snippets of a much more complete looking game than we've ever seen before. There are enemies in the trailer that we haven't seen since 2021.

This is one of probably many services that specifically deals in R-18 patches for "all ages" games.

Now that I look again, it was also the only game with the EJ logo on display... And the only one without the Henteko Doujin/Sanuk Inc. logo (the company the game is being published through).
Weird, I get the sense that the developer only recently started working with Sanuk and the prep for showing the game at Game Pavilion was rushed.
But now it has apparently already been submitted to Steam for review, and has already passed, meaning a whole "SFW" rework has already been created and it is ready for release right now (assuming the dev is satisfied, the final build is finished, etc.)
Is this what the dev has been up to for most of the last year, I wonder?
