check out the rp creation section in the rp section. otherwise i'm sure someone more hip with the facts will chime in and say which ones are recruiting. alternatively find one you like and ask to join in the discussion thread.

If you're looking for RP's to join, here are the ones I know aren't dead;

Super Boarding School(SBS): Rebirth: I have no idea what goes on in this RP. It's freeform, and not demanding in terms of writing ability. And best of all, I never know what's going on, or why. Ever. So as far as I can tell, it's a neat little RP to mess around on.

Laws of the Night: A non-erotic game involving vampires, and vampire clans, and other stuff about vampires. Great if you're crazy about vampires, since there are a lot of vampires. You play as a vampire to, and bite people to eat their people juice.

Warehouse 13: Sorta like SBS, from what I can tell. Except there actually seems to be a main plot for everyone to follow. You play as a man or woman who possesses a power that makes him/her different from normal humans, such as a man who can predict the near future and recall events and knowledge of the past, a vampire lady who eats people in her spare time, and a woman who injects something I'd like to call the 'Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde' serum into her body.

Erotic happenings exist in this RP, but it's mostly just your character either kicking ass or getting their ass kicked. Erotic stuff happens occasionally for females, and rarely for males, from what I've seen.

Monster Girl Island: An erotic-RP run by yours truly. A simple RP where girls like this are out to rape your character.

Dark Gate: An erotic play-by-post game, with stats, magic, and rape.

Choose wisely, mortal.

Hah, you make us sound like a load of illiterate mentalists. Cheers. I'll have you know that some of my best writing has been in that game.

If your interested (or too confused to know whether your interested) in SBS, just say hi in the noticeboard/discussion thread and we'll do out best to explain. It's the oldest game on the forum, but despite it's long and bizarre history, you don't actually need to know what's going on. You have a character enter the school, and you see where it goes from there. Your character wouldn't know what had happened before they got there anyway, if you see what I mean. There's no numbers to crunch or complex rules to get your head around, just simple guidelines and general RP common sense. The fun is in the freedom of characters, and the freedom of having them interact with the others around them and seeing what happens.

One thing worth pointing out that Raptor Jesus missed there, is that SBS is a non ero RP. Being a hentai forum it's not like it's outlawed from the game or anything, but it's not the focus if that's what you might be looking for.

I've also been interested in Monster Girl Island lately myself, though have been having trouble getting my head round what's going on in it. Not had any inspiration for a character to use in it yet, which is very strange for me. I guess it's a similar story with any in-progress-RP.

Heh, well, I said I had no idea what went on in SBS (Truthfully, I never really keep tabs on it,) so I wasn't gonna outlaw the possibility that the game upgraded with moar tentacles.

As for the happenings in MGI, it's pretty much similar to how SBS works out when you join. When you start your 'adventure' in the world, you get filled in on what's happening and what you can do about it as you go along.

Also, I forgot Both sides of the Adventure: A unique ero-rp/game-ish thing, mostly revolving around short stories.(Which is something I'm not keen on. I prefer longer stories, with a likable character of my choosing going on 'a grand adventure', rather than creating throwaway characters who's stories end, for good or ill, at a given point.) Your experience there will mostly depend on who you play with.

Military, and actually it's not really the height part that bothers me. It's the fact that everything we jump out of leaks like a sieve, and feels like it's going to fall apart on you. Plus my bones and muscles are rather fragile, so really it's not the heights I'm afraid of it's the ground.

Ah, I did it with civvy side as a tandem jump. Never did get my paratrooper course, despite being in a jump company. From what I've heard though, military style is much harsher on the body.

From what I've heard of civi jumping I would say so, though I never really had the urge to try it after doing it from the military side of things.

I suppose not. The big difference is height. Civvy I jumped from like 13000 feet, while the military generally goes from 1000 feet. So between the quick freefall, and opening chute, you don't have nearly as much time to slow your descent.
