don't worry about it too much, like I said, my posting capabilities are fairly limited if my cell isn't working, so my next post won't be for another couple hours probably. Not like I would actually diablerize anyone anyways... well except for my sire that is. I would probably enjoy that too much though.

But yeah getting fried by Vincent probably wouldn't be worth it, since he has two methods of discovering diablerie.

Shrike said it has to with the vampire's generation or how many steps removed from Caine they are. The higher the generation the more potent they are.

just lucky, for the most part. She happens to be the child of an older Kindred, but it doesn't really grant her that much. She gets extra blood, but doesn't spend it on as much discipline-wise, and the extra Will is fairly narrow use as well, I don't expect anyone to spend more than 2 a night anyways. Plus, as you've already seen, it makes her a target for anyone that knows and is willing to risk death by nomming her

EDIT: Alrighty, I'm going on a vacation for the weekend, I might be able to check the forums, but I probably won't be posting, so I'm leaving it to Copper to finish up the last three prologues, hopefully we can truly start on Chapter one when I get back. Cheers!

I still don't know much about anything... so it's hard to metagame. An example, why would a vampire nom a vampire?... er... kindred... nom a kindred.... yeah, that's it.

Yay big doggy man harvests my blood. Fun, fun, fun...er, ahem.

Nomming other kindred is basically the fastest way to gain power. For example say I found a fourth generation vampire and nommed him, I just basically became a fourth generation vampire as opposed to being twelth or thirteenth which is what we are now, I think.

Actually, if you found a 4th Gen vampire, I'd recommend saving that one. When you diablerize someone, you only lower your own generation by one. Thus, if you were 12th and diablerized a 4th gen vampire, you'd only drop to 11th, not 4th (although it is possible to drop more than one gen if there's a signifcant level difference). And, aside from lowering your generation, as Vincent explained to Rose, by diablerizing another kindred, you have the possibilty of learning their disciplines (though according to LotN, it's only temporary).

And Shrike, I think I got them all to the Elysium. Want my cookies now.
