Akira nods in response after checking the buldging stomach again, then continues towards the point, drawing a revolver and looking around every once in awhile to check for any fresh threats, not wanting to get ambushed randomly.

It took a moment for Roger to get a reply, and when he did, it wasn't likely what he'd been expecting.

"Copy that Roger, however ... neither we or the B.S.A.A had a chopper out there by your ping back location. Whoever just helped you and went down ... they weren't Sanctuary or B.S.A.A aligned. I thought you may also wish to know that we've gotten a report back that one of Chris's team members has found a cache of missile's likely containing Uroboros, so it appears that Wesker intends to use them for some form of air strike deployment."



Sarah saw the second bug come from above her, landing not a foot in front of her and taking a swing at her head!



Once Akira had reached the position she'd seen the man in, she knew he'd moved on.

Or had he? There were sounds of paper being torn, and something being smashed three rooms over to her left, obviously something or someone was in there.

Murasame stood in silence as Chris explained the situation, though his expression grew more and more into one of utter disgust as Chris finished briefing him on the situation. "I see why you're trying to put a stop to these monsters," Murasame says as he tries to push back his anger. "If this is allowed to continue everyone will suffer. Where do you need me to be?"

Sarah barely had time to dodge back, though she didn't managed to completely go uninjured- the beast's talon swept down her shirt front as she did a impontu flip backward, causing a rather nasty rend down it's front. Barely taking a moment to feel the damages- at least it wasn't a flesh wound- she raised the shotgun and emptied lead into it.

Ellen shook her head in disgust as the creature popped like a balloon and the headless body slumped to the floor. She slipped her clip out and replaced it with her last one, sliding it home with a click, just as the chainsaw outside started up. "Fuck." She said calmly, bending down and pulling the woman's body up, sinking her fangs into the corpse's arm, hoping to replenish some of her supplies at least.

That ended in a fit of gagging and choking a few seconds later, Ellen immediately coughing back up the small amount of blood she had swallowed. She recovered quickly, throwing the body back down with a crunch, and activated her obfuscation just as the large infected with the chainsaw burst into the room, slipping out quietly behind it and continuing on her way.

Ellen managed to activate her skill in time, and quietly slipped on past the chainsaw maniac, who seemed almost angered it had somehow lost it's target.


Chris nodded.

"Right now we're trying to regroup and stick together. The fact that one of the Uroboros creatures has made an appearance this early is a very bad sign. It means our arrival was expected."



Sarah seemed to catch a lucky break. Her last shell killed the closest bug, and as she turned to face the second bug, which was almost on top of her now, full automatic weapons fire peppered it and drove it back. Then a single grenade from a launcher slammed into it as it stood back up, blowing it to tiny little pieces.

A voice called out to her then.

"Sorry for the delay ma'am. Sergeant Green reporting as ordered, we brought your flame throwers."

"Yeah, I found some missiles like that as well, and some kind of test chamber to, where shit-head himself must have conducted experiments with his giant blob of doom serum."

Then, Roger thought for a moment, "Wait a sec, you said that chopper wasn't ours? Then who the hell was it? The military? And how the hell would he have my radio frequency? I thought this was a private line between me, and you teabaggers in Britain. Did you suddenly decide to sell my number to the highest bidder?" Roger reached his hand behind his head, giving a few scratches, "... Not that it matters, he's dead anyway... Well, he might not be, but I don't feel like checking."

She looked up at the men as they showed up, then pointed at the missiles. "Flame away, it's all there," she explained, going off to the side with the arulane as she dug through her gear for more shells.

There was silence for a moment then Helen replied.


"I don't know Roger, no one else should even have this channel, not even John has it. Unless ... I wonder if one of the Cabal choppers returned and mistook you for one of their own from that high up? He could have been radioing on a wide spectrum channel, rather than a specific one. Either way, we need to know if any of them survived, that could play very key. We still don't know if they want to stop Wesker and his plans or if they want to use Uroboros for themselves. Dammit this whole thing is getting too much attention already. Find out what you can, do what you can, and if you encounter any Cabal soldiers, tell them nothing, and if need be ... If you must use lethal force to silence them then do so."



After Green instructed his men to incinerate the missiles, he turned to Sarah.

"Somehow I doubt that's the only stock pile the enemy has. But at least that's one down."


About then, the Alarune's prediction came true. The 'stalkers' as she'd called them suddenly attacked without prejudice.

Six of the guards watching over the flame thrower users were suddenly cut down as female humanoids suddenly de-cloaked and gutted them, and then just as quickly re-cloaked.

"Shit ..." This from the Alarune who had gone nearly pale.

Roger laughed, "They more than likely want to get their hands on it, that's for sure. I would, if I were an overzealous lunatic." he told her, before shaking his head, "And I'll be disregarding your advice on the Cabal soldiers. I hope it doesn't piss you off too much, but I'd rather be the first to pull a gun and fire, rather than give them the chance to do the same to me."

Roger clicked the radio off, leaving the receiver on to listen to Helen's reply, before quickly clicking it back on, "Helen..." he suddenly began with an emotional tone, "... Tell Ashley and Anna I'm fine, I'm sure Anna must have called my room several times by now..." He suddenly cleared his throat, returning to his overconfident self. Anna the werewolf seemed to think Roger was 'cool' when she heard about what he'd done, and developed a quite a liking to him. Even though Roger would prefer solitude, he didn't have the heart to ignore, or even shun Anna's affections. And right now, he was sure she must be getting paranoid, likely having no idea that he was out on another mission.

"Anyway, I'm continuing the mission. Jacklin out." he said as he clicked the radio's receiver off for good, while leaving it's speaker on to receive Helen's reply.

'Brandy would choke the shit out of me if she found out about Anna... Or even Ashley, if she talked with her...' Roger thought, before turning to look to the last spot he saw the dryad.

There was another pause while she listened to his request.

"I'll see to it that they both are informed. I'll make sure they're ready to greet you when you return."


From the tone in her voice, she had no doubt he would be returning.



When Roger turned to face the Dryad, he could see she was taking the time to regenerate several wounds where bullets had managed to graze her, and for the moment she seemed to be solely focused on that, as if she was granting him privacy.

"You alright?" Roger called out to her, "I've got a first aid can, whatever the hell that is. You want it?" he asked her, pulling the can with the label 'FIRST AID' out from his white coat, ready to offer it to her should she need a quick fix.

"I'm fine. Thank you though."


If he checked, her wounds had in fact healed.


"Whenever you are ready to move onward we should."

Roger gestured with his arms outwards, as if showing the dryad something in plain view, "Why the hell would I want to stick around here any longer? Besides, I'm following you right? You're the only one of us that has even a vague clue as to where Tinker Bell's trail leads off to." he told her, using another insulting term in reference to Wesker.

Ellen finally made her way back to where Uroboros had attacked the squad and she had separated from the group, looking over the empty scene quietly. after a moment, she pulled out her radio and thumbed the switch, speaking quietly. "Chris? It's Ellen, where are you guys?"

Sarah only showed slight nerviousness as she readied her now reloaded weapon. "Aw tits... ok, watch carefully, if you see any sign of distortion or something, empty into it..." Following her own advice, she kepted a close eye on the surroundings, finger itchy on the trigger.

The dryad nodded once, moving out.

"Alright, let's go then. Watch your step, the area is likely going to be snake prone and they are venomous."


And so they began to walk, moving around rocks when and where they needed to, until they came across a large road cut into what almost seemed like a mountain.

Walking along it in silence, they caught the faint sound of what seemed to be a truck horn blaring in the distance.




Ellen got a reply after a few moments.

"I'm currently greeting our newest ally, Sarah went to check out a few things and is dealing with a cache of missiles containing Uroboros at the moment, Akira went to check on some things inside the buildings, Regina is ghosting and Clara is with me. Where are you at?"



The men around her nodded, shifting to a defensive formation.

It didn't take long for the first one of them to appear, directly in front of Sarah. A slight ripple was the only warning she had before a clawed hand came swiping at her, looking to cleave her in half at the waist.

"Point me in the direction of the rest of your team and I'll join up with them my Lord," Murasame says with a bow. Taking out his sword he gets ready to rush in the direction that Chris tells him to go to.

Sarah quickly did a backstep, a large gash slicing across her front yet again, though she felt a sting as the skin was marred via the long slash, more of her shirt ripping apart.

"And they wonder why I didn't take the trench," she mutters to herself, raising her shotgun retalitorily and firing at the beast.
