I vaguely tried one or two such networks some time ago, but people just refuse to all use the same one, and thus I refuse to use any. I'm happy with msn and my small collection of forums for other interests.

All my friends use facebook.

I use facebook.

It's brilliant for staying in touch when you go away to uni. It's brilliant for organising stuff. It's brilliant for sharing photos of the night before. It's brilliant for letting people know stuff about you without having to tell everyone separately, lol.

I got a facebook late last year in an attempt to make friends with work colleges.

It backfired spectacularly and I basically don't work that job anymore.

I love that my boss admitted to trying to find me on facebook. This is why I never use my real name for stuff like that, not to mention have privacy settings up the wazzoo to keep myself from being searched for.

Yeah, it's because of shit like that that I'll soon be renovating my facebook and changing the name entirely. Especially with a fucking pc soccer mom type town and the fact I'd be working with children.

having said that, I'd still be uncomfortable about posting up the link, even after taking away my "identity" for the sake of separate lives.
