Oh lawdy, something occured to me in work today. Isabella has been bullied and pretty much friendless her entire time in school and now it seems like she's befriended Ima without realising she has a demonic side to her. The problem is Isabella will try to protect her even as Mia because she doesnt know any different. This MAY cause some problems xD

We'll sort it out when it gets there, I imagine. I'm pretty sure since the combined forces of half the school were having some difficulty taking Mia out she may not need Isabella's help, or even want it for that matter. And if Mia turns on Isa, it will probably be clear enough to both of them who's on who's side

Attacking the others was only for her "amusement" on the night of a full moon Chances are if she's not in "bloodlust"/rage mode, she's not even really going to pay any attention to them, seeing as her "main goal" here is to investigate the whereabouts of a certain person... (well being, you really can't call a destroyer of worlds a person anymore).

If the right characters get involved, and actively intervene with Mia, things will get harder for her. I've considered how certain characters would effect it and there are ways to get round her. She may have been granted the "OP Villain" status, but she's not unstoppable.

Here's the way I see it happening:
1) Mia and Isa are having a lovely moonlight chat when someone who's met Mia and knows she's bad news comes, assumes the worst, and attempts to prevent a situation that isn't there causing drama. Depending almost entirely on how Mia plays it, Isa may or not figure out she's bad news.
2) Mia and Isa are having a lovely moonlight chat, and Mia sees some enticing prey. Again: The result depends on Mia.
3) Berserk mode happens and either Isa is a more dedicated friend because Mia needs the support, or Isa figures it out and turns against Mia.

For scenario 1... that'd probably only be under a full moon for Mia to play her cards "wrong" and go out of control (beyond self defense). Mia, contrary to popular belief, has managed to survive for countless millenia being hunted by beings just as strong/stronger than her. I think it's a basic requirement for her to have at least SOME restraint when needed.
For scenario 2... See above, Mia wouldn't let Isa see her hunt, heck, I'm not sure if "Mia" would even get close to Isa in the first place. No need to encourage Ima to stop being a puppet now is there?
For scenario 3... well, that's about right. :X
Things certainly won't get easier for Mia though, since while "in this world" (or in this roleplay) she's limited to a "reasonable" amount of power through various seals she's applied to herself in order to ward off detection from other interdimensional travelers. So no "super zomg I slay gods OP", at least not on any characters besides NPCs.

In the purposes of allowing the roleplay to remain "filled with places for people to show off their powers", does anyone mind if I bring the "watchers" into this? (Mainly only the enlightened will actually arrive at the school, which are basically your general "powerful sorcerers"/"demons"/"etc".)
By the way, what's this "zombie invasion"/"sci-fi" shit dark was talking about?

Not sure on the first part.
With regards to the second part, it was something that had occured in the previous SBS, and to my knowledge I THOUGHT had been removed from the linear line of the new one. I even altered my characters bio to reflect that change, so IF the old one hasn't "not happened" then things in my bio will definitely need to be changed AGAIN.

Ah, kk. I'll keep them outside of the actual activities of the school then, mainly as something to read on the side when bored, etc. (Like for example, have a short branch off in a post *50,000 light years away, the watchers fight this and that, etc*)

Uh, Keylo, that's how Siphon was in the original one with his own ship and going off elsewhere before. For all intents and purposes that would be another character in the RP what your suggesting, and the whole bit with Siphon's first version was at least part of the reason that Nunu had changed the format slightly, and why I have not brought certain aspects of him back.
At least, that's what I was led to believe with some of the things that had been said to me regarding it. Your watchers tales of fighting 50,000 light years away would be more suited for something in the Sci-fi splinter RP that I STILL am trying to get Bartnum to restart, though I don't think he really has had the time to do so yet.

You didn't know about the undeed saga, Star gate invasions or the field trip to hell and back? I almost thought you were basing this talk of introducing watchers off that.
Those three things were half the reason we restarted. They were insane story arcs that got out of hand. People were throwing so much drama around it became moot, and not dramatic any more since people couldn't eat a meal without a new set of invaders and demons climbing out their gravy. It became a battle of character egos rather than role playing. Everyone ended up whether accidentally or not, scaling up their power at silly rates in order to survive/compete against a villain/player. It's the reason some of our more outlandish characters are in the game. We just scaled them down a bit so we didn't have to lose them in the reset.
On the whole the idea was to sweep any mention of those arcs under the rug and try to pretend they didn't happen, without directly voiding certain character historys. I think...
Power creep can happen ever so innocently, but it sets a precedent that everyone can end up following. Mia has been excluded from the normal restraints on power since she's taken up a clear role as the big scary villain. We've done this before, such as a brief time when the past version of Barry lost control of the glove, or a when one of Sho's sisters who used to be in the game went on an electrical rampage. They liven things up, eventually characters group up or figure something out and defeat them. That's the previous way it's went. An example of the power creep here, would be that Praxal is seeming under powered compared to Mia. Evidently, everything should seem under powered next to her since she's been given those "boss" privileges. Whether its fair or not for Praxal to have his booster, I don't rightly know, since it would be a second character blatantly above the rest.
