Talking to new housemate about general getting to know stuff, and somehow this forum and h-games ended up being brought up.
Her: "So have you played a game called Sengoku Rance?"

Finding out that Marvel has picked up the rights to the old CrossGen comics titles and will be releasing them starting around in March. Uncertain if they will be doing all of the titles (which is making my one friend nervous. I didn't see anything that referenced our favorite title...) but just knowing that they're not languishing in limbo anymore makes me happy. So far, the confirmed titles are Ruse (the Sherlock Holmes one) and Sigil (though they're changing that one up a bit...go see the other half of this in the rant thread. It's not full on hate.)
In the splash picture in the back of the comic, I see what looks like an Japanese parasol (maybe a bokken?) and a ring (could be referencing Way of the Rat), a map with Route 666 marked on it, a gun with lip marks on the magazines (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), a cutlass (El Cazador), and there's a flag with a symbol on it and a wooden block with a different symbol that I don't really remember all that well (it's been years, after all). And I think I just figured out where the lock of black hair with purple ribbon around it is from, too. Mystic (Giselle wore purple. Sort of her signature color.)

Much lulz and lulwhuts erupted around the flat. Followed by...

We're in hysterics. None of us have any idea who it might be refering to, nor the reasoning behind such an unusual pet name if it's what it seems like.

Getting the PS3 hooked up to the interwebs so that I can now download more things that I could possibly need *laughs* Friend introduced me to a fun little tetris-like game, found the X-Men arcade game on there, and now debating whether or not I actually want to download the Dragon Age expansions I've been curious about or trade up to Ultimate Edition.
Also currently downloading Mass Effect 2 demo. I've got a few...hours to go *laughs*

I have a system like that, my parents accountants do mine with theirs at no extra cost.
They're pretty cool like that. The downside is my taxes get done in like march, so it's a good long wait before I get any refund.
