Who should i pick and why. Convince me catgirls triumph elves or elves blow catgirls out of the water. (stats/looks, anything goes).
It's not as straightforward as one may think.
Bashira is a slightly less broken Nanaly. Which emphasis on "slightly": she can burst down high-hp low-armor bosses very quickly, making some event missions quite easier. Speaking of latest events, both dark elf boss and vampire lord simply melted under her fire with skill active.
Her downside is that unless you get lucky or spend lots of money on premium gatcha, she will stay a 15-cost unit for a long time, possibly forever. For archer that's kind of expensive - they are a kind of unit that asks to be deployed early and as cheap as possible.
Spica is more of a working horse. High-atk, low-hp glass cannon that does not really shine before awakening.. but is really, really good at just being a good archer. Her main upside compared with Bashira is that you get her from traiding post, she is already 14-cost, and can be reduced further as soon as you'll get another copy for 200 DC. This means that with just another CR, she'll be miles ahead of Bashira for tight maps. Her skill just further proves a point that she's a deploy early, stay for long type of unit.
Having both of them at CC70 and Spica at 13-cost I find myself using both, yet sometimes switching Bashira for Daniella - just because her cost proves to be too high. She is more balanced than Nanaly in this way: good burst, but can't ignore unit cost due to skill not being instantly available.
In the end, it comes down to one question imo. Do you have 2 near-maxed silver archers to compliment Bashira and sometimes switch her for? If the answer is "yes", put Spica on hold for now. If no, consider CR Spica and using her as cheaper, very solid early ranged unit.
