The achievements should more or less be about how to play the class right, get a message saying you did well, and then maybe a reward weapon, or as reward for something really great YOU did, not something that may happen randomly while fucking around.
It seems more like these...Randomly do things and hope you get it.
Examples
Crockets Are Such B.S.,Shoot two non-boosted crit rockets in a row. (Soldier, This is nothing. an entire achievement based on shooting the rocket launcher, it doesnt even have to hit anything, just shoot, next thing we see is hat achievements for finding hats.)
The Longest Daze, Kill 5 stunned players.(Soldier, Good luck with that, they are just asking for people to go to achievement servers with stuff that never happens)
Or, worse, things people should try NOT to do when playing at least a little serious, like these.
Consolation Prize, Get backstabbed 50 times. (Sniper, what? Go die? Is that it? Did they run out of ideas?)
Photostroika, Provide an enemy with a freezecam shot of you taunting while invulnerable. (Heavy, the medic will be very pissed off if you start taunting during an uber. Similar would be if there was an achievement for spending half the match eating sandvich.)
Placebo Effect,Kill five enemies in a single life, while having your ÜberCharge ready but undeployed. (Medic, this is a very bad idea. You could actually be using those ubercharges to break the sentry farms, instead, you are running around and risk losing it by trying to kill things. You're a doctor. Heal people, use your skills. This is like having a soldier achievement that asks you to equip gunboats, equaliser, and never use the left mouse button, go tauntkill people and survive.(Possible))
Oh, I think I might be rambling on a bit. I'll stop writing now, I'd just like to mention I prefer if the achievements are actually achievements, and not things you just have to get lucky for.

photostrokia used to work with the crit boost from the gloves, don't know if it still does.
My brother was just telling me about how he was on a team and, during warmup, one soldier threw his grenade and just sort of bounced away and lived, so right before the round started the entire team tries it with the exception of my brother, and they all die as the gates open. Then there was a short silence and the guy goes on the mic and just says ".....gunboats"
score +1 for rational thought, lemmings.

I use the KGB too, sadly, I never see any opportunities like that, every server I go to has people actually noticing the big man with bright team coloured gloves, I've had a 6 kill streak within 30 seconds with it a few times(makes it worth using them).
My point was, it's not really useful unless you really find the right spots, and get the right opportunity.

Not pictured: The 10 times he died for every fragment. Though it helps to have a good team and bad opponents.

Combat Arms is good for a free FPS, but once you've been spoiled by Valve games, there's no going back.
I haven't played a free game in months and I removed all of my F2P stuff. At this point, all I really need is TF2 and L4D2 for the next few years.

HEY! I only use Jarate to get mini-crits on people when they gang up on me. If it's one dude, expect him to get stuck on a wall. As for the Kritskrieg, I honestly want to smelt it down.

I haven't played Combat Arms in a while, been playing Allience of Vallient Arms (aka A.V.A.), Gunz, and Exteel more because I tend to do better with 'durability' item games. If only I had enough for a shotgun though for A.V.A, I may do better in the new Prision Escape mode...

I still don't feel it makes up for it, but I have reason to believe that either I was very lucky today on my batting spree, or the sandman has a much higher crit rate than the bat.

I've played around with the sandman a bit, it's better now, but still not worth it to me.
Scout is going to have a tough time with the engineer update, sentries everywhere and not a thing he can do about it.

valve took out the bots? I was just using em like two nights ago

If any of you need help, I still have plenty of easy ways to get almost every achievement on tf2.

Just play the damn game. I don't get why people achievement whore unless they're really desperate for unlocks.

I didn't really start achievement farming, unless I was spending time evening out my classes and saw ridiculous retard achievements (which you must admit, they do have). I always got them when I was playing, noticed I had a huge percentage, so started paying attention. Plus I did a lot of work on creating and managing servers, so I know a lot of the helpful commands.
So basically, it just became: "Ok, I've been playing for hours now, and I don't really want to play anymore, but i'm still kinda bored. I'll check my stats. Hmm, I haven't spent that much time as a pyro. And I still dont have that 'light a spy on fire who's flicking a cigarette' achievement? Well, lets do it." And I'll spend the next hour or so setting up that and then just burning the crap out of bots just for fun.
before they even came out with the class specific achievements, I was making loads and loads of temporary servers just to use up my time killing everything with all classes.
