Can any of your companions get H'd once you're out there with them (either them taking advantage of you when you're downed or enemies getting them)? Also for those who've beaten the game, does it unlock anything similar to the Ghost Mode that BARRAGE! had where you're invulnerable (aside from still being able to be H'd) and any companions you have with you won't attack?

The piston fist whatever weapon deals damage through enemy armor. You should be able to buy one from a checkpoint. There's one that goes into weapon slot 1 and uses energy and the other one goes to weapon slot 2 and uses some ammo. The second one causes an explosion that knocks you backwards after hitting the enemy which can be nice in some situations but it's not recommended for farming. As for how to hit the rockmonster, fly around a bit and see his attack pattern, then find a suitable timing to hit it. If you can't kill the rockmonster with 2-3 hits then you might want to grind some other places for ores to increase attack or to sell for money so that you can upgrade yourself.

As for the girls that can be found being raped around the world, I'm not sure if they are so relevant. They seem to be a sort of side quest where you save them and bring them to a teleporter and they give you a reward. There is one character you can save in the jungle from a boss monster but that one's a male I think.

Btw I'm lost in the volcano. I've found some nice loots and stuff but I don't know which way to go to progress. Someone posted the full map here on another page so I can see that I'm supposed to go left somehow but no route seems to take me there. Do I go left or right from the teleporter in the middle of the volcano area and then do I go up or down?

EDIT: Ok, I checked a complete save file and backtracked. There's a place where some bandits are fighting a huge orange firebreathing lizard. The cave above that fight seems to take forwards.

Is there a way to lower the respawn cost?

They are all the everlasting "weapons" options. Normally you have to pay the fee to switch, if you have those, you don´t have to pay anymore. Buy them for your favourit weapons, or just get them all once you have enough money.
When you don´t have to pay for switching you will do it more often making the game more fun.

The Piston "dodge" is a dash forward in which you can´t be damaged, not even by lava ect. You can release the charge while dashing making you deal dmg to multiple enemies and making it way easier to hit.

You have to litterally find them, as example you wind 2-B in the Abyss fighting random enemies and fishing in the slime area, I found her at the ice area fighting other droids.
Once you found her she stays your ally if you pay the area fee. after that you can find her in her usuall spots and left to your home base.
The be spoiler free code red is something I forgot, I think being far enough story wise and helping her out? Code green helps after her rescue and beating a specific (minimal hidden) enemy.

Alright now I'm stuck on the volcano boss, I can't get his eye open and he's regenerating a million health per second, making him unkillable. I feel like I'm missing something elsewhere in the level, but I'm not seeing it.

Having this problem as well

use that weapon, The boss was so boring I didn´t even take a hit but just spammed those and they did everything in a very short time.
It was the most disapointing boss, he just died.

If you don´t deal enough dmg with this, just get a bit more dmg in the volcano area I found strong dmg minerals everywhere, even just laying around making it possible at a place to enter collect reenter collect in just 4 seconds per material if you want.

I'm having some serious trouble beating the Red Cyborg in the bandit base (2nd time you meet her). I can barely get through the gauntlet of turrets and Gray cyborgs, never mind 12k hp. What's the best weapons for this?

You too should maybe try the weapon above if you already have it, shoot it some place above where it will not be destroyed, even if you die and she dies afterwards it counts as cleared. So don´t spam respawn but wait if she will die after you.

Guessing being stuck at a door/wall before that.

Guessing there is a certain order in which things must be done.

Do you know that there are many destructables in the Jungle and some of the walls are not walls? You can spot the fake walls but the destructables are not different to real ones.

Can you clarify a bit what weapon are you talking about? I'm stuck at the volcano boss right now too. And is it really ok to kill the boss with some weapon that can kill it through its regeneration?

Actually for me the boss is just immune to damage, but in the full save I checked the boss was regenerating.

Actually for me the boss is just immune to damage, but in the full save I checked the boss was regenerating.

The weapon is a beam weapon that shoots a sentinel, which shoots bullets
If you don´t deal dmg, it probably means you have not enough 火カ

Edit: Otherwise try to talk with the Commander, she might trigger something. Though I just rushed there after the volcano opened and killed it.

How do I rescue him? I can't target the vines he's in.

How do you get to the jungle boss anyway? I've defeated the red bot and got her item, also defeated the tentacle monster in the cave but I am walking into a dead end when i go to the jungle. Its just a room with a capsule and nothing. I can only go back. Anyone can tell me what to do here? I've tried searching for an answer here but cant find it.

*EDIT* nvm, found that the commander was the key to onluck the path. ^^

probably bugged, go back to a teleport station to refresh the map, then come back. Don't get caught while your teammate kill the vines, that could trigger the bug.

Could be you need to talk to the commander first, she says that he was "last seen" in the jungle, at the end of the prarie(or however that is spelled)
The commander is the one at the desk in the "guarded room" in your base.

I didn't get killed and I just did what you said, went to the teleport station and went back to the vines I still can't hit him... ffs srsly not a damn bug now..

I am not sure, I completely cleared it while being freezed since I was too lazy to figure out it´s existence. If you sprint or sword dash/piston dash the lost speed is only notable while flying.

Once I have 100% I will probably start piecing together a guide with the help of screenshots.
Will take a while though

near the door you mentioned there are stairs if you go up, see these boxes? Kill them and follow the new path.

Btw girls will sometimes disappear if youre dont resque them. Busy doing something else, talking to commander killing bosses etc.
And they will not appear again, you have to reload save.

Not quite, It is very likely that it has something to do with the SOS system.
SOS1 = 1 people of group [1] are saveable which ones is still uncertain. As example the girl in front of the first badit base
SOS2 = 1 people of group [2] are saveable, which ones is still uncertain. As example droid in slime territory, girl in first bandit base.
SOSX [1 or 2] = 2 means you are with someone you are saving from group[1 or 2 ] (I think he wanted that it counts -1 instead of +1 so it is 0.)
SOSX [1 or 2] = 0 means there is no one to save, both are 0 mostly after you saved someone.

If you enter and exit an area often the number will chance if you are near a spot where you can rescue someone, these spots never change.

I am 99% sure with this theory, the only thing that is annoying me is that I just can´t seem to find the last girl in the super tiny space that is ??? area.

Edit: This is why you can miss people that you want to save, they are not allways there.

While explaining SOS I might as well explain some other stuff.
危険度 = degree of risk (You could call it danger level, lowest is 0 [no enemys] highest is 6 [strongest enemys], the higher the more expensive is the revival)
ビーコン = beacon, (the things you have to gather for the story and entering the huge volcano at the top of the map.
