Where the hell is the key card to access the locked room in the bandit base? I feel like I've run all over the whole map three times.
Is the bandit base past the guy standing a gate? After the ruins?
If so, what do I need to do to get past that guy?
I found a girl on the ruins and escorted her to HQ, but now I'm lost :|
Honestly, my method is just "keep going everywhere and talking until more stuff happens". If you go back to your creator, you should fight a red cyborg girl. I think she drops the keycard that

I keep seeing the red cyborg girl mentioned and I'm not finding her. I've already beaten the first boss and been everywhere on the map that I can.
If you look at the screen shots on the first page, you can figure out how to get more amor, stacking armor gives you a bigger health pool. maxing it out lets you run through most levels.
Exactly where you picked him up when you start, sometimes there will be a black mercenary there. you hover over the space he was on the ground to the right of the merc and press Z
you can buy ammo from the chamber that refills your health, there are screenshots on the first page to translate the options. and you have to save the Valkyrie halfway through the level, then when you approach the boss there will be some defeated valks and some fighting valks, when they die, which they will, you can pick up their weapons and they do damage to the boss. as far as upgrading the MC, you do it with minerals, refer to the screenshots on the first page.

What a nice game, grind was a small blockade but overall this creator sure does put his effort into gameplay so as to not be overtly annoying which is more then I can say for most H action platformers. Also fuck that rock monster jumpscare.
Once you finish the bandit base and talk to the important women, you unlock the path at the end of the forest area. This branched off to a deep forest and an ice area. Just ran into this qt-bot while I was there. This man loves his guest appearances.
All I can say is to keep going around. Once you beat the cave boss and get the pickup, there's 3 deadends: The forest, the bandit base, and the guard next to the teleporter. Go everywhere and talk to everyone. You have to be missing something.

I honestly think I've broken the game or something. Killed the cave octopus, picked up the thing in the next room, talked to literally everybody in the game. Not sure what else to do.
EDIT: Okay so after you beat the cave octopus and pick up the thing, go back to the first area of the bandit place.

I strongly disagree, this is not a grindfest. Once you understand the configurations it is everything but a grindfest. The only thing I "grinded" were 1000 gold at the start to get level 2 max stats, I had no idea what I was doing, after that I learned what I could do. With real full armour [plate (start armour) + extra plates + visor] it is also extremely easy, this is why I go with no armour all the time. I have no idea when you get them though I somehow just had it really early.

I'm up to a point where it overwhelmingly seems like there should be a boss for the jungle area, but I can't find it, and I hate navigating this area. Anyone found it yet?
As compensation I can say that I found the somewhat hidden boss of the ice area by going down and right through it.

Has anyone progressed past the jungle area? I finally popped out on the moon fields(?) and made it as far as this before I'm completely stuck. Not sure if I'm just not supposed to be here yet, or this was the "boss spawning" problem he delayed the game for.

Ah okay, maybe I can still update my WinRAR or 7zip or something, it's an XP machine.
Also, I kinda need it because I don't wanna set my machine itself to Jap Unicode, and i haven't found a way to get an archive extractor working with Locale Emulator or the like, they always garble the filenames and make the games unplayable that way! Anyhow, I opened the archive on here and it looks clean, so sorry for being kinda suspicious at firstEDIT: Ooooh look at that! I updated 7zip and it works! Thanks man!
