Then I'm looking forward to it even more. I'm not currently even all that much of a fan of brainwashing as I like them to keep their mind for fun's sake and just be controlled through a collar or something ("Oh noes, I can't control my body") but that's mostly situational. First Asagi already taught my that I like some things I didn't even know I liked, so I'll probably see :D

Quick update on the blog, he says happy New year to all and is showing off some fan art.

Posted a quick update including all the changed made by sunshaded so far and some random text after the sadist fight. A couple lines following Hyoro (the purple haired guy) and lines for rescuing the masochist soldier from the horse in the ruins type base.

Not too much new material but update! I think things will finally get back on schedule on my end.

Ah sorry, I meant to ask if you were posting things somewhere else like a blog that tells what parts you translated for your update and the link to that.

On an unrelated note I've found an accurate translation of the title of Ahriman's kunoichi game: Kunoichi ~ Legend of the Fallen Shinobu (the fallen shinobu possibly referring to the defeated clan of kunoichi in the beginning of the game).

Also, Ahriman said he wanted to try a new drawing style or motif. Not sure what he has in store but it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with.

The reading of the title of that game is, as lazycat mentioned, Touninden, and it's a very kanji-oriented title that probably roughly means Defeated Ninja Legend or Ninja Legend of Defeat. The 忍 part isn't shinobu, it's just the key kanji from 忍者/ninja put into the title to incorporate the meaning of ninja. Also, the subtitle would be something like ~Kunoichi in the Depraved Underworld~ or ~A Kunoichi Amid Depravity~... literally kunoichi(s) of the lewd world (inkai), but how best to translate it should depend on the context of the story, and I haven't played the game yet. :confused: On a side note, the sequel is subtitled ~隷属の双刃~ aka ~Double-Edged Blade of Subordination/Slavery~.

Whatever he does next, I hope he just goes a little more in-depth with the battle system, making it more granular and varied, rather than just changing motifs. (Although Asagi was already amazing, I want to hope for his next game to approach perfection...)

Uploaded the progress I made this past weekend. Entered in the first pass of Asagi's capture scene for act 3, need to review it again at least once to check for errors. Text should be complete up through to the holding cell area after meeting the Kukill Knights.

relevant updates should still be in the thread since a lot of the posts in the tl forums are small updates that no one except very few care.

I'm aware of that version of the translation, what I posted is what I got from translating the Japanese title through a few online translators. The reason I called it accurate is because it is a direct translation of the Japanese text rather than a full interpretation.

I appreciate your explanation, and based on the gameplay "Kunoichi's of the lewd world" is the most accurate of the translations, as the world the heroines are in is filled with depraved enemies, etc.

I remember suggesting to Ahriman that he should have Miya's (The swordsman) sword be possessed/inhabited by a demon that would grant her strength the more aroused she was. This of course makes it pretty double edged, a high risk high reward weapon as the more aroused the heroine is, the easier it is for her to be captured. Based on your translation of the subtitle, he plans on using a sword similar to the one I suggested. I look forward to seeing how it is implemented in gameplay.

I feel a little stupid not mentioning this here before, no wonder no one's posted there. :p

Is the mega link in your signature still going to be updated? I think most people are used to using that link for the latest updates.
