How familiar must one be with the franchise to actually enjoy the experience?
I've never played Alicesoft games and am wondering what all the fuss is about. I'm familiar with the franchises which have inspired this upcoming release but never played them, so am I missing out on just backstory or is this game like the Rance series where one has to be a hardcore fan over two decades to really appreciate the work put in?
As for the demo, not difficult beating the Greed boss without relying on the gang-rape scenes to boost stats. Supposedly there's a cap on how high the heartlessness rating can go before there's a game-over, but the game mechanics themselves aren't too difficult even without reading the manual.
