How about an enemy that shoots a projectile at you, and it makes you brainwashed, walk toward them and initiate sex? I think he meant that. Its not my thing but a good annoying enemy is always appreciated.
The game already does have a mechanic sorta like that, which is the libido mechanic. When the libido bar is filled, Alicia's lust overcomes her and she starts masturbating, then enemies can easily approach her and grab her for sex. Granted, I don't think enemies can grab you just yet.. I keep forgetting to program that, since I was an idiot and have each enemy's AI separated instead of having global functions they all reference, so updating their AI is kind of a pain. In any case, I'm not a huge fan of mechanics that punish the player by taking control away from them for extended periods of time in a platformer/action game, so I'd prefer to keep stuff like that at a minimum. That's why I removed the Latcher. It works a lot better for RPGs, so maybe if I ever make an RPG... ;0

@Slam Sector - Sorry, but don't expect anything psychic or paranormal or anything of that sort. I don't plan on incorporating any of that into the game, not for any personal reason, I just don't feel like it would fit. For the next game though, who knows?
I meant like psionic plant monsters. Sci-fi stuff. Also, please don't make this a primarily futa X female game. If things get TOO futa-heavy, I'll probably just stop following this project. It's all hunky-dory as a trait of special characters, but I get exasperated when the women who don't have dongs are a distinct minority.

Yeah, might want to keep the futa to a low if you plan on making any unplanned enemies be a chick with a dick. As much as I would like it (along with the three other people), it really wouldn't fit the theme of the game. Not to mention we're probably a minority. Maybe you should do a poll for what the unplanned enemies should be? As for the next game though, yeah, put females with penises everywhere.

Agreed with me as well. I can stomach some futa, but if it becomes a futa-dominant game instead of just a sci-fi one with a wide variety of fetishes, I'd probably bow out as well. IMHO, I'd love the ability to turn on and off fetishes, which some devs do; for example, it'd be awesome to have the option for a non-futa runthrough without the futa-monsters, and futa-lovers can also have the option to include that particular enemy. I have no idea how you'd do that (or if that's possible), and of course, it'll complicate things as people start complaining about their fetish or their particular turn-off. Just seems like we're starting to split into two distinct camps of futa-lovers and futa-haters, and it appears those against futa (myself included) would likely stop support if the futa-love gets too wild.

There's already the ability to toggle certain sexual content in CPE in the options menu. As of now you can toggle vore, bestiality, futa, and/or just straight up all sexual content. Said enemies can still attack and knock you down, they just won't rape you.

I'm no fan of futa especially if the MC is one. I can deal with it when it's futa-on-female but I see it as barely any different from male human(oid) characters. The game already has 2 (3?) futa enemies, it doesn't need more imo. It doesn't even need more humanoids - The scientists, the two soldiers and boss, and the plant girls.

Only 2 futa enemies thus far. The Alraune and the Warped Sentry.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure if more futa will happen for CPE; it's one of my favorite fetishes so I'm definitely willing to consider it if there are more humanoid enemies, but I was going to try and shy away from humanoids for the rest of the enemy list, since there are already a lot of them. That, and there's only a few enemies left unplanned at this point.

I want to echo the sentiment of including an option to maybe turn futa content off. I can see that its a popular fetish in these forums, but I personally can't stand it. In my eyes at least, futa is basically a guy.

To everyone saying not to make Crisis Point futa-centric - read the post a little closer. I said that I was considering making the NEXT game focused on futa x female, and in that very same post, I also said that Crisis Point would probably not be getting any more futa because we're trying to move away from humanoid enemies for the rest of CPE, since there are plenty of humanoids already.

To everyone asking for an option to toggle futa off - like AnonTheHuman said, that option is in the game already. It has been for a while, including in the latest public build, v.13. Just press the Enter key during the game and it'll pull up the toggle menu (or in the latest patreon versions, the main menu, where you can access the toggle menu).

I also want to clarify, just because there's not more futa content doesn't mean there will be more lesbian content instead. I know I've said it before on here, but I'm just not into lesbian sex - I have nothing against it, but it does nothing for me sexually, and while I respect that other people are into it, it's hard to put my full effort in for content that doesn't interest me. Thus, the odds that Crisis Point will get more lesbian content are pretty low, and you can expect similar content for my future games.

Like you say, the libido gauge if basically a pornified stun gauge. You could just have enemies that do different things to fill it. Sonic pulses or whatever, it doesn't just have to be pink mist. That's all I'm really saying.

Also, I don't think the game is really crying out for more yuri content. The one scene you did is pretty good, already.

Just to clarify for my own post anyway, I was referring to whatever next project you pursue, not Crisis Point. I figure that this is basically a done deal at this point.

I suppose that I could have made that more clear in my original post. Apologies.

Then what's the problem? futa x female is the same for you as male x female.

Anyway, do what you want 42. I'll tell you that full futa games are few and far between, at least finished non-RPGMaker ones, so you've got a decent potential market.

Question.

Is there a way to save your current progress during a run and come back later? I've reached an HP restore point somewhere in the 2nd area (after defeating the twin...centipedes?) and I'd rather not start all over again.

There's a bunch of teleporters to the left of the start that lead to different progression checkpoints. They're there to hold us over until the save system is up and running.

In theory, yes, but the somehow the idea of a female wielding a penis is always an immediate turn off for me, regardless of context. While futa x female might be bearable in some very select few cases for me, I'd still rather avoid it when possible.

Oh wow, I haven't kept up much with this lately, but it's looking as great as ever. Eagerly awaiting the finished product, but much better for it to be done better rather than faster.
