The mom is Azusa, Kozue's brother is Takashi.
Also having him in there doesn't mean he's a party member, he is required in the actors menu for the outfit changing to work in scenes and menus (much like how he was in Kozue's Strange Journey).

Thanks for the information! While I'm happy to see Retina back in the mix(and quite likely as a secret character as in the previous game I'm guessing?) I'm bit bumed out by the absence of the lady knight, whose name totally escapes my mind.
Curious to see Kozue's father in the list, not quite sure what's going on over there since the guy was mostly there for some incest in the last game and played a tiny role. I'd be mighty interested to see what he does in this one.
Shuzo is the father's name, so this is a character we have not seen before.
Also, I can say for sure there are 7 playable characters based on the database filled-in slots + 1 extra slot that is labeled for something that I will assume is a summon or non-human character.
There are other slots below them that are empty in the database so it is likely other characters might exist but were just deleted from it (which would make sense seeing how events, variables and other database entries not relating directly to the demo content were removed too).
Personally I don't think there will be any male playable characters/party members but I AM hoping for Yoshino to be playable or at least have actual scenes in this one, knowing what was planned for her in Kozue's Strange Journey but ended up being cut is pretty sad honestly (Leatrice also had a lot and most of it was near complete).
I don't think the author specified any changes or fixes, but I'm happy that he/she is still hard at work.
I have downloaded 1.01 and take look at the changelog, here it goes:
var1.01 一部のキャラクター名の表示修正、施設利用時に時間制限になった場合の挙動修正
google translate:
var1.01 Corrected the display of some character names and corrected the behavior when the time limit was reached when using the facility.
Not sure I really like the color palette the dev have with his new drawing tool compare to the previous one. Hope he won't stick to it for futur drawing.
About as long as it's gonna take it for you to do it ? then multiply it by the number of brain cell the average forum lurker is lacking. That's about how many karmic cycle it's gonna take
Hello folks, hope you all are doing well. We're fast appoarching late August and so far there's no CIEN update just yet.
My gut tells me its likely going to be delayed..... But fingers crossed it will be released within the coming two weeks.

As soon as i saw the ci-en "update" using his default picture when uploading, i could easily feel it was a delay notice, but damn, 2 whole months
He took 2 whole years to try finishing (and failing to report at the end) the game. I believe which took him more than anything was the amount of customization in this game, it's EXAGGERATED the amount of clothing/hair and makin CG's with that customization
It's funny because the developer of sakiquest disappeared too in late may, and according to some people who were talking about in the blog, saki quest took like 5 whole months to release later on it's release date, that means that if this game and the game the dev. of sakiquest gets released together, i'm gonna laugh because these games were ones i was waiting for
Other funny thing is that ALL GAMES i was waiting for either got delayed or the dev disappeared, my batch of games got such a bad luck lol

I am sorry to hear that! And I sympathize with how you feel. Kozue's Strange Journey was very similarly delayed back then, fortunately this time the developer came out and announced the delay early, unlike last time he/she simply vanished for a few months before coming back to say that it is delayed. Needless to say all those months in the dark were tough: I was filling myself with hopium that the game might come out on any day!
And I do agree that this is likely the most complex game(all those event variants, character customizations and pregnancy on the RPGMV platform, which is a first for this developer) from this developer yet, so I do expect and understand at least a delay or two.
While I wish the devoper would share more information about the game in the mean time to quench our yearnings, I am somewhat optimistic about the October launch. Or at worst, a release before 2022.
I read it through google translate it is said that the dev can make it by the end of October, but it is too close for comfort so it is decided to postpone it once more. The following weeks will be used to polish the game.
Actually yeah, if there is one bug to find i hope people blast him for it, comments in Ci-en are 60-40 (positive side winning), but at the same time saying that bugs eating a whole month is weird
I actually expected this dev to be one of those who delayed the game a "decent" amount of time then releases it but..... Yeah

In all honesty I don't really think the purpose of the delay is to polish or bug hunting, the game is probably not quite finished and the extra month is to get it done.
I do think it's likely poor planning or overestimating the progress the dev was making a few months prior. I understand the frustration but I hope folks don't go too far to harass he/she for it.
As well as I hate having to wait more and more for a game to be released.
I'd rather wait a bit more for a good game (well, I hope since the previous one from the dev were really good) than have the dev release the work unfinished...
After that, it'd be better if the dev gave a real ETA from the start... adn as for "the dev lie to get more time" dealt, it's a question of faith in the dev, so I'd pass at have to praise or hunt him down
