That book actually saddens me a little. I don't know why. I mean, I'm all for preparing for the zombie apocalypse and getting people to read, but at the same time, something in my gut is just...dismayed that such a thing exists. Don't ask me to explain it. I can't.

Although I can tell you, thanks to my cousin and confirming it for a friend of mine, there are also NINJAS in the book, too.

I'm very sorry, Pheonix, but that is in face a parody site. Very amusing one, yeah, but it is. (Some of them actually do believe that silly dinosaurs as herbivores, though. See: the Creation Museum.)

The only confidant reference I can find that it's false is an old deleted wiki article. How certain are you of that?

I mean, even if it is false, it isn't exactly far fetched. Most of their articles will have similar twins on other Evangelical sites.

Alright, I'll say that I'm almost certain that it's a parody. Rationalwiki lists it as parody, their online shop seems almost too fake to be true, they cite Conservapedia, I can't find any such location as 'Fellowship University' as listed on the member bios page for a 'Dr.' Paley and others, and there are numerous other errors in the bios page as well.

Certainly, it's very close to some real sites, but I feel safe in calling this one a parody.

I decided to drop this here rather than the fanfiction thread mostly because it might get more attention this way.

This is a link to a person's profile who I found on fanfiction.net who (By the three stories I've read so far 'Team Sharingan', 'He Said She Said', and 'Runaway'. All of which being Naruto fanfics.) seems to be a rather good writer. At the very least, the stories don't seem to be as focused on a power fetish for Naruto as most fics and seem to be more focused on the story.

All I have to say (Taking Team Sharingan as the example) is that if the fic starts out by killing one of the three main characters, it's got a good chance at being good.

Really: if you know much about the anime, then you'll know that the main-ish characters are Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. At the beginning of Team Sharingan there is a flashback to the end of a mission I believe that was in the cannon for the series (Escorting a bridge builder that suddenly become an overly difficult mission) except, instead of everyone surviving and going home like in the cannon, the author offs Sasuke forces the three's teacher to use Sasuke's magic eyes as transplants to keep the other two from bleeding to death, and then dumps psychological trauma on both of the surviving characters.

Edit: and that's all within the first few paragraphs and partially in the story description, so it isn't a spoiler.
