Alpha Demo is out:

gonna use this thread to mark some quick fix for anyone who has trouble hooking this game. I'm not sure how this "fix" will affect the whole game but in my testing it seems to work kinda fine, for now.....

- copy the file into your data folder and hit yes to overwrite.
Thanks for this, I remember the last circleKAME games had this problem.

So how do you turn her into the gyaru version?
Even if there are basically two scenes with her dark version, hacking the game to forcibly turn into the dark version doesn't yield anything because he hasn't even programmed them into v1.00 or v1.01

OP updated for official release in 3 months, also the developer is working and posting about his new game ever since his December's post, so not sure about the state of this game so far...

Just a small update: The developer is finally finished with his side project and is more or less back on track with Lolique 2.5 after a bit of rest.

Ci-en announces that they'll be delaying the release date to unknown due to development of Lolihui and more elements are being planned to be added also.

Good news and bad news on recent Ci-en post(4 days late...):
-Good news: New animation is looking smoother and really clean as they decided on switching to Spine instead.
-Bad news#1: RPGVXACE cannot handle the animations due to data issues, so possible platform changes will be made if they can't figure it out.
-Bad news#2: (TL;DR longer game release) Longer delay might be made to accommodate for testing out this new tool and more work will be put into changing rpg software if that's the approach they're going at.
-Bad news#3: Save files MIGHT get corrupted if the changes are made; Starting from scratch for all that was preparing for the official version with trial version.
-Bad news#4: All the preexisting artworks MIGHT probably undergo animation reworks, meaning development time increases.

Does this mean they're not going to use the "stretch" animation style anymore?

Probably not, the animation test for Spine will probably replace the stretch style as it seems to move more smoothly and more cleanly than it does now. We might see it on some h-scenes if they're cutting some corners to quicken the release of the game, but imo they'll probably work it out with all of the scenes since they announced that the release date will be unknown for now. Here's a quick snippet of how the animation looks like:

Edit: Just to clarify(after a bit of research), the original "animation" was really picture by picture of slides to show the h-scene, no real animation going on as sketch animation is more frames by frames of picture to "animate" the scene(pretty much the above example is a "sketch" animation).

My assumption on the platform change from VXACE to MV was correct, other negative side effects of this change will most likely come along with it:

Another update by the developer: He's planning on changing the 1,000 yen plan to 500 yen now, and is working on rewriting the battle system. More info on what's his plan going forward can be found .

Another update: The author is now in crunch mode and has tossed the old menu interface and replaced with a new one(RIP great looking interface from the trial). Also he's planning to add "バステ" or "baste"(Japanese way of abbreviating bad status) into the game, describing it as being a permanent effect such as the slave crest when collecting too much debt that can only be resolved once you've payed it off probably.

i'm following his ci-en as well, but thank you for keeping us up to date here as well! 😁 really hope he leaves the body status page either the same or similar cause i really liked it!^^

I would have preferred if the author took their time for some more fine toning. But that's frequently not an option for game devs who do not use the "games as a service" model.
If they don't release, they don't get paid.

Damn that trail interface was so clean looking. Its sad that they have to crunch it out and now lose some of the glossy-ness it had

Don't worry, their H-stats screen looks a lot more cleaner than their Ace one on their recent Ci-en post, so I can accept the trade off cause the stats are more organized now(corruption and lust are in the h-stats rather out in the open, also virgin status doesn't have its own page to itself anymore).
