Witch tells you to defeat the fairy queen or whatever by making her 'angry' by capturing a fairy in the forest.

I had a hard lock on my game where the fairy queen or whatever didn't spawn after learning how to capture monsters. Had to load an old save and get it to spawn before I could progress again. Not sure how I bugged it, game was telling me to capture a fairy but it wasn't doing anything - think because I went and captured a fairy straight away without doing the even at the house first but who knows.

Also I powered through with max quick attack on some of the stump girls but there's a multi hit (fingering) ability you get later that makes quick work of them. (I think that's what was intended)

Had this bug and have now found out I need to load an old save, thank you

I captured the book in the cage before defeating it and am still unable to defeat it. I have all abilities max rank, maybe not using the right amulets?
Also worried that the book won't drop the item I need if its from the recollection room, I don't know if anyone knows if this works or doesn't work.

You can't capture bosses until you get the final tier of pills, the third one, at the vampire church/mansion. I'm not sure the bee guard counts as a boss, she might just need the second tier of pills. Besides that, capture chance maxes out when they have <33% health.

Gotcha. after playing some more i figured out that yes there are pill upgrades. I guess my second question now is, to get the amulets that require the purple pubes, do i need to get them when the witch is not accompanying me and if so, did i fubbernucked myself when i went to get the hairs from the witch's room without ensuring that she wasn't home?

Plenty of maledom onlys are missing out on this game, when it's like 75% maledom, 25% femdom, and the ratio is gonna change even more in MQ3.
