Current version 2.1 is broken. Once you quit the game and start it up again, there's a chance your savefile is corrupted and you start in a black screen. Only solution: start all over again. The English option is also broken (right from the start you cant even move cause the dialogue doesnt start, and after that more messages dont), so use the japanese option and use ReiPatcher to translate.
It's a shame cause i quite liked it. Despite there being no real sex and it being very unforgiving.
ReiPatcher:
ALT T disables/enables the translation patch.
As for walkthrough, basically kill everything as they drop ammo and keys (but dont bother killing what you found doesnt have a drop, it doesnt change after a restart and theres no exp)
