As Rikke stepped into view she saw the three dishevelved men look at her a moment before one of them spoke. "Hey isn't that the set of tits Milkeye was blabbering on about? The roughest of the three smirked. "Aye that she is."

The trio turned to Rikke, who'd smile kindly to them... yet before the girl could say anything else, she knew exactly the sort of group she was dealing with. No less one that knew Milkeye?

"Okay! Guess we're not talking then." Rikke sighed and drew her blade, before rushing into battle! If they weren't up for conversation now, they would be after she left them no choice!

Rikke was fast far to fast for the poor bandit in question. Striking quick she opened up two crimson slashes onto his chest before the panicked man pulled a pistol and tried to fire it at her. Knocking the gun to the side with her blade Rikke gave him a nasty bruise and probably a broken finger or two as a reminder. Still he was not alone. His more cowardly companion quickly tossed some dirty into Rikke's face blinding her a moment. Letting him slip out of view if ever so briefly. Meanwhile the mean looking fellow with a rusty jagged axe shifted his weight, the leather armor he wore creaking ever so slightly hinting at his action.

Charging forward Rikkes speed seemed to utterly shock the nearest bandit as the girl smiled slyly, before letting loose a double slash! Only to add a third lighter attack as the bastard attempted to pull out a pistol! "Ha!" the rogue still cocky from her previous battle taunted the bandit with a smile, only to turn to the motions next to her---

"Ack!" the girl cried out as the dirty fighting bastard threw sand at her face, briefly forcing the girls movements to a stop as she'd try to wipe it out! "Bastard!" she'd growl out quickly looking around only to note one of the three... wielded a blade far far too large to actually see use!

Still with the massive overhead attack looming the girl was in no position to counter-attack it, not with the other two here! Looking to finish off the injured bandit and get him out of the fight the girl would have to brace herself and refocus!

Not relenting in her assault Rikke quickly finished off her first foe with a clean smack to the side of his head with the flat of her Warg Blade. While it was no beauty it was made of good steel and she knew the quality would not let her down. Gruff would never issue lesser objects. Still she was exposed her reckless attack leaving her open. She knew she couldn't avoid the large strike her previous maneuvers leaving her to exposed. What she didn't expect was the other fool who came charging in on the blindside landing a hit on her. This almost seemed to knock her right in the large bandits blow battering her nonexistent armor and body to the point of collapse.

Rikke struck down the first bandit! Two more to--- "Aaah!" Rikke cried out as suddenly a blow blindsided her, the girls second blow ! Stumbling to the side the girl looked to the sand-thrower with some anger, yet just as she was about to rush to finish him off as well "HHuup!" she'd hear a groan from behind her as the other bandit let loose his swing towards her!

While the girl attempted to strike and knock the bastard off balance, it was too late! "C-crap---" *THUUUD* a booming blow echoed out as dust lifted all around, as the girl found herself flat on the ground with the blades massive weight pushing her down... Rikke felt her consciousness slowly slip as she'd catch it again and again, before hearing the bandits already exchanging remarks for a fine job!

With a sudden fist tightening the rogue quickly stirred to life and rolled away along the ground, before standing up with shaky legs, her hair a mess and breathing superbly heavy! T-that.... was scary!... And extremely dangerous!

Seemingly by a hairs grace, the rogue was not out! Still with her exhausted and beaten state, the bandits overconfidence gave her just enough time to down a healing potion! The effects instantly rushing over the girl breathing second wind into her breathless self! "I... I'm... not out yet!" the girl steadied herself and tightened the grip on her blade.

Recovering some health Rikke took in the sight of her foes. The first one attempted to strike her again only to meet with an expert parry and counter. Still the big man with more grace than Rikke thought such a man could must quickly swiped his jagged axe in her direction. It was easily parried though the sheer power of the blow made her wince. Still if that was the best they could muster they where doomed.

Rikke quickly focused herself as the bandit came at her again, yet this time with him in full view, he'd not get a cheap shot on her! Especially with the girl focusing on her defense! With clange of steel Rikke slammed the blade aside with a powerful pommel strike slammed her blade to the bastards nose knocking him back and into the ground!

Only for the girls intuition to kick in, as she'd feel the massive blow from the other side coming! With a quick dodge, the girls blade sparked out as she'd deflect after the gust-inducing blow, before adding a light strike of her own against him as well!

The tides were turning! Thankfully the moment of mishap and carelessness might be salvaged! The thought spurring a subtle smile on the rogues face as she'd rush towards the dirty fighting blind-sided bandit! If she can take this guy out, the big fellow she should be able to outmatch in a duel!

Rikke with a flourish and grace unknown to most quickly stabbed and slashed her foe quickly causing him to fall back and trip over some rubble sending his own blade tumbling away. Smirking Rikke made a quick feint in his direction as to finish him off causing the man to scramble away and start running. "NO GOLD IS WORTH MY LIFE!" Behind her she heard the other man shout back "COWARD!" Turning to face her last foe she saw the man in the middle of his windup. He was trying to finish this in one go.

Rikke blinked at the runner and snickered, only for their exchange to quickly focus the girls gaze to the massive weapon wielder! He was going for that absurd attack again?! The rogues eyes sharpened as she'd shift her stance... it was a rough and blunt attack, but one that could leave him open to an attack. Rikke would face the man and instead of attacking, prepare to dodge and counter the attack!

With the blow slamming nearby, Rikke hardly waited for the dust to settle as she'd leap out of the dust cloud and begin her final move! Her blade gleaming the girl let loose a first blow, getting a good feel of the enemy defense, before continueing to her stronger second attack shortly after!

Rikke knew the attack was coming and easily dodged it the massive blow giving her a chance to show off. Using the axe as a spring board of sort Rikke jumped off the metal to deliver a quick kick to the bandits head dazing him long enough for her to bring her blade about and stab him in a non critical area, She would would tear him apart piece by piece.

The girls blade shifted in her hand as she'd dash for the second step of her technique! With a bright slash seemingly appearing mid-air the second strike slammed out! Even with its potent lethality and even if the enemies hardly would show the same grace to her, the rogue still seemed to aim for disable the enemy instead of mortally injure them!

Rikke's speed was more than a match for the now lone bandit. One quick slash dropped the man to his knee. Still he would not give up and swung once more at Rikke. Of course this fight was over and the strike was desperate and easily parried. This left him open and with a quick strike of her pommel the man went down.

With the massive blade echoing out as it hit the ruin stone, the bandit would next moment open his eyes to a blades edge at his throat! "So~ Feel like up for a conversation now?" the rogues cockyness was back once again as she'd smirk slyly to him.

"What are you doing here?" the girl asked subtly pressing her blade forward "No lieing." she'd add with a smirk, knowing full well the man had little choice, but to cooperate!

"Easy... now lass... lets not do something rash..." Sweat poured off the bandits face. His dark eyes switching between Rikke and the ever present feel of steel against his neck. "I was just paid by the fools down there to guard the entrance I swear." Moving her eyes ever so slightly to the entrance Rikke thought she hear head echo's of some sort of prayers coming from the pit.

"Whats going on in there?" Rikke asked keeping the bandit at egde, if he was indeed just a bandit on guard duty... it was unlikely he'd have the information the girl required - How to stop the ritualists!

"How many are there down there?" if the bandit acted unsure, the rogue would give him subtle motivation by leaning forward with sharp eyes "I'll trust your best guess... but make it good."

Even if the girl had little true intention in doing anything painful or worse as her voice and stance hinted at... the rogue was always a devious a bluffer! "And who paid you?"

The bandit looked incredibly uneasy as would anyone with a blade to their throat. Though Rikke was no sadist or murderer the bandit didn't know. "Maybe five or ten... I never bothered to see." Pressing her question further the man blustered out that Milkeye payed him.

This was just a hired thug, she'd not get any cult-related information from him "Okay, last question... When did you last see Milkeye? Has he seem... strange to you?" with her answer obtained Rikke would to the massive wielder "Now..." she'd suddenly flip her blade and smack the man in the face knocking him out then and there! "That was for the that blow" Rikke smiled cheekily and stuck her tongue out.

With the gate guards defeated, it was time to see what lied inside this ancient ruin. Sheathing her blade the girl looked over the entrance with clear curiousity, before stepping down the stairs into the dark.

"He did seem odd spoke with a lisp.... last I knew he could talk fine... not sure wh..." With a quick thwack Rikke knocked the bandit out. He had no more information to give and if the bandit did see anything wrong with him must mean the evil godling must be learning to cloak his minions from the normal people. Then why could Rikke see them? Shaking her head she headed for the entrance. It was dank with a musty smell. Echo's of half understood prayers rose from the pit. Every-time the see crashed against the cliff it would send musty air rushing out and drown out the noises below. Almost like it was breathing.

With the spirit of adventure rising in her heart Rikke took the first few steps down into the pit. The stairs recently reinforced were secure and safe to traverse. They lead down in a spiral fashion to once must have been a ball room or meeting hall. Rotted drapes adorned windows that looked out into rock. Stuck forever in a strange view of the underground when the structured had collapsed. The floor itself was uneven heaving in places or sunken into recesses where stagnate water gathered. Any furniture of the place had long been rotted or used for firewood and other constructions. Water dripped from a crusted Chandelier its crystal ornamentation still slightly visible beneath the grime. It did not look very secure and at any moment seemed that it could would come crashing down, From this room a few doors to her right and a carved stone passage threw the remains of a wall on the left.

This place has definedly seen better days... Rikke looked on to the decrepit sea-torn temple. It was indeed a curious place to build a temple to begin with, had it been a place of woship for one of the sea gods? Unfortunately atleast this far in, whatever diety these people were worshipping was missing. Imagery of the previous god or goddess seemed to be stolen, broken or never entirely carved out to display.

Still, looking upon the decrepit ruins two clear paths revealed themselves to the rogue: To the right, where there seemed to be a few doors and to the left, a carved passage through the wall? Out of sheer curiousity Rikke would approach the passage on the left first looking through the hole(?) and especially along its walls. What could've caused this? Or had it been done intentionally by tools?
