Considering how important information can get, which -a lot of time- require secretcy. That Magical Recording Device (MRD) with its benefit being : encodable (high lv conceal magic), compact (it can be a small thing) and highaccuracy (cause writing can be misintepreet so recording is much better >.>) will become popular af, especially to the higherups and military comm will shortly adap the MRD. Nobles also should be VERY FOND OF THE THING cause some behindthescene works needed that (cough cough). and my quote above, if , and IF someone juuuuuuuuuuuust so happen to be a noble, realize the fact that he can use MRD as a porn making device and sell it for money/use it as a blackmail thingy/what ever, then, THEN AV would start appearing everywhere (mostly made by nobles, crimerings, brothel). It's allright. to some extent some suspension of disbelief is probably always going to be required when it comes to hgames.
for example, anachronisms like neon rubber condoms showing up in games set in a medieval fantasy period without high amounts of technology. is it kind of goofy? yeah, but other than for the one guy who was bothered enough by it to post about it i think the majority in this thread were like "let's just roll with it because the dev wanted it in because they thought it was hot, and let's be real, it was pretty damn hot"

i mean if you try to think too hard about what's going on in the setting of this game there are probably a lot more turn offs than "things that don't belong in the setting" like mass grave sex, which we gloss over because the dark fantasy setting lets the dev place Aradia smack dab into the middle of an entire fucked up town of things that will ravage her instead of having to justify some other setting which would probably also stir up people enough to get into a multi-page argument over

What is the issue with discussion? It doesn't hurt anyone. I don't understand why anyone would come to a forum expecting only to find game download links and/or walktroughs and nothing else. It's a game under construction and people are going to talk about it every now and then.
The topic just happens to be about condoms and what not. Next time it could be about Aradia's pet catfish, who knows. It's a forum and people are welcome to discuss about the game or share art. And it's not like art is safe either, too much art and people will complain about that as well. I remember when @UnHolyBlessing took down that lovely Aradia doll because it was annoying and "not-related to the game" for some.
If you only care about updates just follow D-lis on twitter or Enty. You can always come here to grab the latest update and be done with it.

This, i mean the discussion about condoms was a bit... strange.. As i already said in my previous post D-lis is mostly doing the things HE likes and wants himself and that is cool in my book, as it is always better for an H-game author to just do his own thing as opposed to listening to his fans, imo (most of the time it just doesn't end well because people want everything and you can't please everybody).
