there's also a secret event where Iron Maiden will lift the curse instead and tell you to come to her room later (note after visiting her room the MC's portrait will temporally change)

Adding to this, if you recruited the Iron maiden she'l show up as you're speaking to the oni and release the curse off you for free.

Hi

I'm stuck at Liz and Haru. I tried following every guide (I have the iron maiden at 100%, I checked the entire area for the oni at every step of the event, And spoke to every npc in the area at every step with no succes)
Is it possible the oni isn't appearing because i'm replaying the chapter after she nuked herself against the snake?
What can i Try?

There's your issue, oni disappears after that event takes place. EDIT: To clarify, she won't reappear, even if you replay past chapters. Keep an old save of chapter 2 (one made when the oni is still "available") around.

Thanks I think I'll have to replay the game or try to bypass this by importing a save form a different game folder.
Anyway holycrap this game mechanics are amazing. Now I even understand why only 5 save slots XD. It screwed a save maniac like me quite well

Uhhh but how and wryyyyyyyyyyy...................................., you are using a downloaded save i guess, im sorry but something similar happened to me (Oni did a Krillin and some how she got erased from all dimensions to the deepest of the abyss)

Short answer, got bugged and had to start all over again.

No it was my own save. I was planning on going for 100% after finishing the game ... who knew backtracking would be impossible for many cases, but i think its one of the things that makes this game awsome XD.
In the end i started a new game and doing it over i had missed so much stuff anyway

I'm sorry but your instructions aren't clear either. When I go talk to the beggers near the flaming barrel all I get is a few dialogues, and when I go into the shop, I can see the dog having a exclaimation mark over his head but when I go talk tho him it just brings up the shop. Can you list out the steps one by one. Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you are trying to get them to join you, so read this and try it out. You can't really get more concise than that's cat beggars section, so if you still don't get it then I dunno what to say.

I will just assume you've misread my post since I clearly stated my situation. The guide tells me to go south, which I did and come across the beggers and the store then all characters only give me repeating dialogues, there is no lower gun option or ability, to begin with, I unequipped my gun and nothing happens. The guide just turned from clear steps to a mush of undecipherable mess and I DEFINITELY DO NOT AGREE that a few steps with no elaboration is IN ANY WAY CONCISE. Please tell me how your guide would help my case. Thanks in advance

Oh god damnit, I think I get it.

Ok, the whole 'situation' is that you are heading to the supermarket to buy a cure for the Rabbit's Milk Poisoning, which would turn you into a rabbit and eventually kill you. So you gotta buy that cure which is in the supermarket. So yeah, you can talk to the cats when you first get there, but nothing should happen.

Go inside the store, buy the cheap drink that cures you (I forgot what it is called) and you should automatically use it when you close the shop menu. Then when you try to go back the gate is locked. Turns out the cats locked the gate and have the key, or something. AND THEN everything should happen according to the guide.

Edit: Yeah, what the guy below said as well. That said, it sounds like you are playing according to the guide itself, and not really reading the story and etc, (like, it sounds like you talked to the cats, talked to the shop keeper, and stopped COMPLETELY which means you didn't realize you needed to cure your poisoning -> not really following the story because that's the whole reason you went to the supermarket in the first place) which probably is going to spoil your enjoyment of the game.

The context on those instructions comes with reading the character dialogue.

Though first off, you have to resolve the current plot problem of needing to buy medicine to undo your pending mutation.

So you enter the store to buy it.
After you buy it you will find that the door back north is locked.

THEN the cat girls will explain to you they locked the door and you can threaten them for the key or bribe them for the key. THIS is where the lower gun choice comes in.
 
I'm kinda confused. The guide said doing the steps should unlock the begger cats and the rabbit, but I don't see them in the hell room, what's going on?

They don't move into hell until you advance to the next chapter.

Anyone know if the engagement ring does anything yet?

Just checking, but did you finish the chapter (aka go into the next chapter and face off against the doll already) after doing the mentioned steps? And did you get that event with the mother rabbit at the gravestones?
 
In case some of you don't know how to unlock the scenes on the main menue. You have an item called "Hells indulgent". You get this item very early in this game if you beat the barghest after the abush. If you equip this item, you wont die. That's why you alway wake up in hell. This item prevents you from getting the full H-scence and text because you are getting teleportet away in the middle of the scene.

and i'm sure that using this item will bring something bad to the ending,of course.
