Re: Sex Zombie

How does the infection spread from zombies to houseflies? ...Actually don't answer that, it'll spoil the effect of when Juno sees them later. Either way, you have me pretty hyped for the next update, but don't burn yourself out too fast! :p

Re: Sex Zombie

i also vote feral. if feral means our four legged friends, then i'm all for it.

The next update is actually a long-delayed one for Claire's Quest, but Sex Zombie will be updated after CQ's 0.4 is done (doesn't seem fair to fans of CQ for Sex Zombie to hit 0.4 faster than)

It does! I'm going to start on specific maps depending on what people choose, which can reflect the area. (ie. if people want feral, it'd be a zoo or similar)

Re: Sex Zombie

There are a lot of police officers in chapter one for a zombie apocalypse. Never seen that many. Like half the NPCs in that settlement were, "suits" or police officers. Not to mention that blockade, tons of police. Its just odd to me because I've never seen that specific scenario, not that its a bad thing.

Anyways, for the most part I enjoyed how the game played. The differences in between the two enemy CG's was odd, if its the MC her hair color changed in between her sprite and the two CG's? I don't get it.

Fighting was hard. I felt like there was a ton more of stuff to explore in West Greer than I got to explore because fighting is more of a dodging game that becomes impossible indoors. In the future, maybe a chance at being able to defeat a zombie in melee combat with enough strength would be nice. Just to make exploring indoors easier.

Other than that, I enjoyed pretty much all of the demo. For the future I do hope you go ahead with the four legged feral zombie idea.

Re: Sex Zombie

Thank you for all your interest and support!

I will continue work on Sex Zombie as soon as Claire's Quest next release is done.

On a side note, the people have been fairly clear about what they want, so Sex Zombie's next enemy will be a zombie dog (a la Cerberus from RE). + the relevant bestiality scenes, of course. ;)

Re: Sex Zombie

its okay architect take your time. Youre making progress.

Take all the time you need! Sex Zombie is a great survival horror H-RPG from my playtime with it, and I'm glad to see that it's being continuously developed.

Re: Sex Zombie

Hey man, just loaded up the latest version and noticed something in your disclaimer you might want to fix, for legal reasons if anything at all. When it disputes that you support rape, you actually used the word "condoned," which means to allow or permit an immoral act. Just an fyi, in case you want to fix that. :3

Re: Sex Zombie

Mediafire took it down. Not a surprise. Any chance someone could put it up on mega?

Already noticed that mistake. Fixed in that next version!

Re: Sex Zombie

if there is enough demand for an .app file I'll do a release for Mac as well.

Glad to see you back among the living. Also glad to see another MV game. As I DL everything on my Mac, I love when I can get a game I can play there (hint! hint!)

Re: Sex Zombie

I hate to be one of "those people" but! Work faster dang you! Its sooo good and i need more Q_Q!

Re: Sex Zombie

He just came back from a 2 year hiatus and within a week it's "work faster"? Come on - let him get back into gear here...wait a few months for the necros...

I'll throw up a mac version after I do a windows one for the next release. :)

Glad you liked it! It'll be sometime in June, after CQ is done, so fret not.

Eh, I'm used to it. I treat it as motivation now.

Re: Sex Zombie

Im loving this game and its whole design. I couldn't use the game quest system but I was hoping you could add an impregnation feature to this game or x-ray.

I am so in support of this

Re: Sex Zombie

So I checked this out when I felt like getting a survival game, may as well write down first impressions

Meet Billy in Stanton
Okay. Nothing tells me who Billy is, and nothing tells me where Stanton is. Not a great start to get no real clue this early
Found Stanton, talked to Billy, asked about alternatives...And then Juno immediately agreed to it. On hearing the alternative, I assumed I'd be able to choose. But apparently not
It's nice to move by mouse clicking though
After that, I got to the point of zombies being around.

Not a huge fan of how zombies seem to stay right outside of the doors, thus whenever moving through something you're likely to lose a bullet from a surprise zombie. One or two doors by chance makes some sense. Every other door becomes annoying
After that, seems like I reached the end already. That was quite short, but it seems things were pretty well done for a tutorial of sorts.

At no point did I feel at risk, and indeed I wasn't hit once

As nice as this sounds, an impregnation feature is a huge amount of work for a developer to do. I do like the idea- Long term consequences in a game where you're supposed to manage your food supply, mental state, equipment and such, but it represents a large amount of coding and art. It is a very nice feature to have though and not many games do it in any sort of detail. Not to mention it may not fit the timescale the story is supposed to play out over

And thats without even considering the philosophical parts of having zombie-children around. Do they come out as zombies? As regular humans?
Questions we may have answered whenever we find out what happened to the women caught by zombies ingame sometime.

Game seems neat. Much less actual survival than I expected(I've found none except dodging enemies), but that may be because it's an early version still. Quite simple of a game, but it has potential

Pregnancy is quite hard in terms of the overall programming required, especially since it's a side feature. However, x-ray is definitely on the cards.

I'm having a little issue getting the balance right, really. The previous patch people said there was too little ammo. This version it ended up going into "no feeling of risk" again. I'll tweak it.

Zombies outside of doors was meant to add a bit of risk into entering each area, but I take your point. I'll see what I can do.

For the long-term consequences of zombie sex, instead of pregnancy I have an "infection counter" which plays that role.

Re: Sex Zombie

I do think the whole no risk is mostly a thing to do with the zombie-genre and a little bit map design. If you don't really get in a place where you need to risk nearing a zombie, you can just walk around them

It's an innate problem with zombie games though, they're only really risky in enclosed areas, and I did save ammo by dodging as many as possible specifically because I am genre savvy as far as zombie stuff goes

If I didn't save ammo religiously I'd have likely found it too hard, since the subway area has you go through enclosed spaces with zombies in them. Very hard to dodge, it was where I've spend pretty much all my ammo
