ACT [excessm] おねショタACT スマッシュボーイ / Smash Boy (RJ225414)

i dont like the increase of hp that is a mistake many devs do on raised diffeculty.

This is what's called "artificial" difficulty, because it's essentially, not really difficult, just annoying.

As for everyone being disappointed, I thought it was a solid little game, but I don't play any other Excessm titles. So I think it's a case of, people buying with expectations will be disappointed, people buying with curiosity will probably find a nice time-killer on their hands.

I'm also a big fan of all of the Boku No Hero-esque SMASHing.

how did you edit the files?
1. Extract Enemy.wolf file using the tool linked by elusi: https://ulmf.org/threads/oneshotaac...oy-excessm-released.11767/page-5#post-1000004
2. Edit the extracted pictures using any image editing software of your liking. Make sure you save the edited image with the same name and file format and don't change the dimension of the pictures, otherwise it won't line up properly ingame.
3. Place the folder with the extracted image files into the same folder as the enemy.wolf file and rename the image folder to "Enemy"
4. Rename the enemy.wolf-file into something else.
5. The game will now automatically use the resources from the image-folder, because there's no appropriate .wolf-file present.

Not sure if someone mentioned this, but I think the issue for the last event is tied to starting the fight with Fairie equiped. If you start the Super Charlotte fight shrunk you get a 2/3 # picture error the whole time.

I've played all of their games so far, and I find that the CG's have become a lot more limited compared to their first title. Seems like they have less and less with each game, but the gameplay tends to get better as well.
In the end, I do enjoy this game a lot. It is just the lack of CG's that kills it a bit.

Do you have cut-ins turned on? For some really weird reason they're turned off by default.

Bit disappointed with the game. Character cums too fast, escape system is annoying (just let me hold the down key like in Onesyota!) and sex attacks are less common compared to the previous games. Don't care about CGs that's not the reason I play these games. It's much better than Parade Buster, at least.

I honestly had a lot more fun playing this game than any other of excessm's games. Trying out new combos and stacking skills was entertaining because the game was relatively easy/short. The issue that I have, and what I think a lot of people also had, was that excessm missed the "adult" part of his adult game. Parade buster had so many different enemies and bosses that its no wonder people are disappointed. However, as a video-game, this one felt like the definitive one-syota as he clearly put in a lot more work into making flashy combos and attacks than he did with his h-stuff.

I'm very conflicted with this game.

The lack of not only CGs but also more H attacks made it weaker than all previous games. In the first two ACT games, I loved getting grabbed intentionally over and over again just to see whether they have extra animations or not. The bosses even have more variations along with more CGs.

On the other hand the gameplay is top notch. The presentation and game engine is leagues above older games. Although I do like Parade Buster style because it was different.

But again, one thing I loved about the older ACT games is how underpowered you were (especially the first one). I could equip skills and make myself weaker but I dunno. Having insane amount of combos made the game so easy and a bit boring in some ways.

I just dom't know.

If your comparing the CG to the first two ACT games remember the CG here is animated. It makes sense that there's less of it in that circumstance. SmashBoy tried to meet a happy medium between Kariyume and Parade Buster and while it didn't quite make it it's a lot closer then people are giving it credit for.

have you considered not leveling up your combo move and using moves with little to no stun chance so that you can't super smash as much

Judging from his twitter, we should expect a content update soon.
He's going to add a scene with a bunnygirl in the casino, mentioned something about the probability of her appearing depending on how much SP you have.

Wait he isn't adding a new scene right, just the probability? Because you can already get this bunny scene when the more tanned bunnies appear.

yeah, my guess is that he isn't adding anything new, just pointing out something that people may have missed. I for one, didn't know about it until just now. This isn't to say he won't be adding on to smashboy later, just that we shouldn't be hoping for it very soon.

Oh the scene was great! And yeah I really hope he adds more content to this game, because it needs some.
