What's new

ACT Shota [ExcessM] 廻るハゴコロ / Mawaru Hagokoro (RJ325142)

Even if i wish it would still come out this year, i rather have him take his time to put TLC into each individual enemy so all of them have their own unique 3(?) H-attacks.
Not to mention i hope in terms of stuff to do, it will reach Parade buster scale at the very least.
So my guess would be mid or end of January 2021.

This introduces a new miko enemy. She will either kick the player or hit him with her wand. Her naughty attack is riding the player's dick while putting her foot on his face like she was driving a car or something, and the other attack is using some magic to shrink the player so she can ride his face with her crotch.

I hope he'll expand a bit on the shrinking mechanic instead of leaving it as a singular enemy gimmick. Like in Smash Boy as a general enemy attack or the survival level as a tiny Smash Boy.

This describes the build system to change up the appearances of the enemies. They come as small, medium, or large. There are also age differences where younger enemies are leaner and less developed than older enemies. It's tricky to apply the age and size modifier on the wrestlers since they are always large, so the other variation is a slender version. I feel like this developer played lots of brawlers and action games and wants to eliminate the monotony of palette swaps by having the ability to alter physical appearances among enemy types without having to create new enemies. Since the developer is using Unity, the enemies themselves may change upon each playthrough. He may have the same type appear, but the actual enemy that comes out could be different every time. Harem Trigger was like that.

While generally a good concept, I really hope he does not put too much time and effort into this, especially because he said it might cause some problems. Sure it gets some more visual variety into the fights, but in the scene comparison you could barely see the size difference between a small and a big one, so its not really worth it to put too much effort into it if the characters already have different hair, clothes and colors to make them appear a bit more varied. It may also get confusing at this point, having possibly different body sizes, age, hair, hair color, clothes and personality seems like a bit much if it is still supposed to be the same enemy.

Yeah I agree.
The most important aspect is for enemies to be instantly recognizable and having all these variables can become very confusing.

Honestly, I think character scene composition and design brings out more eroticism than enemy design.

This only discusses text and the ability to replace it with languages other than Japanese such as English and Chinese. The developer still feels bad about the lack of English translation for YUMESAME. I think the biggest mistake is relying on volunteers rather than hiring actual translators. I know game development is hard work, but so is translating stuff.

I never really figured that system in Parade Buster out, so hopefully it will be easier to get into this time. Generally not a bad idea, I translated a good part of Parade Buster to the best of my ability anyway to have an idea whats going on, so I am all for it being easy to implement into the actual game. The translation of the last game still not being available is admittedly something that pisses me off even to this day, so I hope it will finally be done by the time the next game releases, otherwise I just get the next game from another source.

There is a complete
But yeah the game's luckily simple enough to not rely on ingame text. I think I beat it just with the starting weapon.

Yeah I know, I did the translations long before they picked it up, supported them since the Succubus House days because that was one rather unique game that desperately needed a translation. I agree that games made by Excessm are simple enough to be played without any japanese knowledge, I never had any trouble playing them with limited japanese knowledge, but it is not nearly as fun if you just blitz through instead of reading most of it. In the case of Parade Buster I had a blast comparing what I got translated to theirs, but I wouldn't want to put that kind of effort into it anymore with the new game.

This introduces the samurai general enemy. Her regular attacks are a sword whip and a kick. She is one size, which is thick. Her small form is a younger version. Her naughty attack is sumata, and her other attack is sitting on the player's face. She has one more trampling attack on a downed player.

An alpha or something would be nice so we could have a chance to look over the game and see how it plays out.

ExcessM's got a track record by now though. It's not like most other developers who are on their first time.
A demo would be nice, just to see whether the game will run on your system, but even then it's not necessary since it's a Unity game.

I think it's better at the end of the day for him to focus solely on development until he releases. We all get a complete version and have no prior expectations going into the game.
her other attack is sitting on the player's face.
Yeah that's definitely her special attack since the protagonist shows up in it. It's not a first-person camera angle. The sword stab thing has me a bit concerned though.
Her naughty attack is sumata,
Yeah her secondary ecchi attack is a sumata. Still don't know the activation conditions for the primary ecchi attack and secondary yet though. I wonder if it's just random?

I think the special ecchi attack is that you have to be hit by a certain move for it to activate.

From the diary entries it looks like the game right now is just an amalgamation of lose modules that haven't been properly connected yet.
Also excessm ususally releases a demo a few months before the game release and he already mentioned the demo a few times in his blog entries.

That's basically the only thing i don't like about this dev, Ya gotta wait so long to be able to actually try out a demo who cares if it's incomplete or not, It will either attract more buyers or steer some away from buying it altogether but that's just one mans humble opinion they can take it on whatever pace they want doesn't matter how long it takes it more often than not turns out good.

This only puts all the other posts together into one. The game will have nine regular enemies and ten bosses. The developer will add links to the characters when they become available.
