I mean... a girl in a godzilla suit... playing this...

I can't even work out how the drums are programmed into it. It's not pre-recorded because she lost speed at one point without throwing herself out...

And then you go and do

just to add insult injury. I happen to be a huge Michel Camilo fan, and his work is really fucking hard to play, just on piano, let alone doing this. I mean DAMN.

She seems very good with her hands and feet... so, she's in Japan, you say... excuse me a moment...

I know. I... can't work it out... Either she has ridiculous technique, or the video and audio have been sped up in such a way as to maintain both the pitch and sound quality, which is difficult to do without it becoming obvious and thus the former seems more likely.

And because it's not a perfect performance; there are some mistakes and bits she slows down a little for, it's not likely stolen from elsewhere

Okay, thats one of the most awesome vid's I've seen, and the only way it could get better is if it was Battle With The Four Fiends instead of Battle on The Big Bridge. Still, awesome music is awesome.

EDIT: It would help if I browsed through the persons uploads. Battle With The Four Fiends is the beginning piece on here;

Actually, two things:
  • There are no outside sounds, so the music doesn't neccissarily have to have been recorded at the same time. Even if it was recorded, it was done through something hooked up to the machine itself. Therefore, the music could have been recorded at a different time than the video.
  • There definately seem to be parts where her hands or legs just jump from one place to another. I don't just mean they move fast, I mean the video must have been paused and the person then moved a limb or two.

I don't remember that from the game, but then again, it's been a loooooong time since I've played either of the Discworlds. Might even have been one they didn't port to PS.

Now, just as a warning, the guy himself is really not that funny (to me at least). At first I had no idea why half my friends loved him so much, but then it was explained to me. Basically, his videos are like "the Internet in five minutes." So if you'd like a way to keep up with the latest viral youtube vids, check him out.
