"Well, uh, all the members of my family are even better than me though they don't like to exhibit most of their work so you'd probably never see them in any art shows. So I still need to improve," Isabella says quietly as she rifles around her bag. "Here, it's not what I work on most of the time, but it's some of my non-portrait work." If they were to flick through the sketchbook they'd see various pieces of work depicting strange and obscure creatures, surreal, twisting landscapes and other macabre works.
As Isabella hands them her sketchbook she picks up Grace's own work and looks over it. "This is really good, I really like the way the colours blend together as it phases from the day half to the night half. It looks as if it's some kind of gateway between the two. To be honest, I wish I wasn't as good as I am. That way I'd be able to learn from mistakes in my work. Since the first time I picked up a pencil I have never made an error when it comes to proportions or lighting or anything."
