Yeah, I second that, Chibi. I don't care how nifty/cute the fish are, I am not going to spend real world money on a virtual item that I'm going to lose. EI's and MC's are different. They don't disappear a month after you buy them.

I bought an infernal spirit when they came out. Plan to sell it if they do well.

Eh, if there's an EI I want I just buy a load of things from the cash shop that I know will sell for a lot and then sell them and buy a 1st gen of the EI.

Same here. Though I can be patient with certain things (like, say Death Whisper. Mine's 11th gen or so, too) but others I need before the first evolution (Like the Nest Egg). I suck at playing the market. My one friend does insanely well, but I make most of my money playing games and selling off the little crap.

Though I swear I made, like, 2K minimum doing the Halloween crap just from surfing alone.
