I'm try not to do the whole shoulder thing for people.

When I was 16, I helped out a suicidal girl. She clung to me, and we ended up in a relationship basically because I was too worried to turn her down. After a bit, I got used to the idea of being in a relationship. And then boom.

Her self esteem had recovered enough that she decided she was too good for me.

So yeah, I tend not to do it so much after that.

Its ok man. I was in a long distance relationship for 3 years, trying my VERY best to keep making things work. We were both persistent, and we tried REALLY hard. But the fucking world was aginst us man, and we couldnt hold it up much longer. I still want her back to this day, i think its hurt me pretty badly emotionally and mentally to the point im unstable.

That happened to my cousin, but when she got better, she was still psyco...

I helped this one girl who i was friends with for a while. She got raped and i was there for her for the longest time, and she was bi-polar, so she had allot of trouble controlling herself and blaming herself and mostly hating herself. I took care of her like a little sister, even though she was a couple years older than me. I just hugged on her, cuddled, listened, and kept telling her i loved her. I kept her alive and now shes a pretty happy girl. Still has a little bit of a bipolar problem, but shes taking medication so she seeems to be making a good recovery. Now shes my Big sister lol.

...That was kind of heavy, Sorry. Continue on with the hate lol.

I enjoy helping people. It's just who I am. If someone has a problem and they come to me with it, I try to help them out as best as I can.

I need to stop doing that shit.

All it ever does is bite me in the ass. I've got, like, TWO MOTHER-FUCKIN' PEOPLE that actually LISTEN to my advice. Everybody else? Goes something like this:

->Person: Hey, I've got a problem, let me explain it.
*explains*
->Me: Huh, well that sucks. Here's what I think.
*gives thoughts/advice*
->Person: Okay!
*next day*
->Person: Yeah, I totally disregarded everything you said and took none of your advice.
->Me: WAT =.=

Also, I've had it move to this next bit a couple of times:
->Person: So yeah, I know I completely disregarded your advice and did nothing that you said to do, but I'm still blaming you for the shitty way things turned out.
->Me: ..... Fuck off.
->Person: WHAT?!? IT'S YOUR FAULT, DON'T TALK LIKE THAT TO ME.
->Me: ..... yeah, goodbye.
*never talks to them again*

I did a long distance relationship for 2 years. 1.5 of which I was only 3 hours away granted, but it's still not easy to see each other daily, but it wasn't too bad.
7 months I was on the other side of the world, out of contact for a month at a time at some points. If I can do it, and my buddies can do it, so can ye.
