Yeah I know I probably should have made a big to-do about it, but sometimes I can be timid or non-confrontational in public. I had like two thoughts going through my head at the same time. The first was like what I posted about "Are you kidding me? Your person told me everything on this rack was on sale and there were more than one there. Give me the freaking sale!" But at the same time I was also thinking, "If I make a huge deal about it, the salesperson is going to get in trouble... do I really want to be that person?" So I ended up not making a big deal after the initial, "That's not what they told me" thing. The cashier apologized to me and said she hoped I would come back, but that was it. After that, I just gave her a look that basically told the whole story and just left without pursuing it anymore. I'm not coming back by the way. But I guess since I don't make the scene, I'm the one that gets screwed instead... so oh well.

Anyway, I'm really sorry you got stood up Copper. :( I know how that feels. It really stinks. Hope you at least had a nice chat with your prof.

i hate working a full week of work. Granted, im getting paid like crazy and im happy as shit about it, i just hate the idea due to how insanely fast the factorys been operating. Usually towards winter we slow down a lot, but somehow we've sped up to the point it looks like the summer. Im confused, but hey, money money money~~

Count yourself lucky that it sounds like you're not working in a food product factory. Christmas is one of the biggest times where I work, complete with a fuckton of overtime and not being able to book holidays.

I hate flu jabs. It's guaranteed that whenever I have mine I'm hit as if I've caught the full on virus.

Depends on how you handle it whether or not the person gets in trouble. Passive aggressive, I guess, is the best way to go. Be nice, but make it clear that they're in the wrong (or that it's their screw up) and you feel you should be compensated for it. Worst case, the manager comes out, tells you no (so you're no worse off than you were before) and the associate gets told to go move the clothes. Granted, that's just going from my own experience, but still, it's not as bad as you think.

Also, he got back to me this morning, was apparently very sick, and wants to try again, so we're gonna get together tomorrow night, about the same time, same place, and see what happens.

Also, fucking people that can't find anyone to cover for me at work so I've got to drive through a goddamn foot of water to get out of the parking lot, let alone on the way to work.

*ahem*...Ummm...Im a little too frightened to bring up my own hate...oh. I hate being next to a football field Thats constantly used by elementary football players. Fuck the parents and their shitty parking skills.

Pretty much all public transportation, when people say things just for protocol without meaning them, kids ages 4-17 and annoying laughing.

Watching a short video that I've already seen, with someone who I had previously mentioned it to. They casually ask about it at one point, and I put it on. They watch roughly half way through and then turn their head to face me and start talking over it. Just in time to miss a key moment, naturally. I reply in short, but they continue on, and have evidently stopped paying any real attention to the video.

So rather than have them talk into the side of my head, I turn as well, and stop the video, so I can actually join the conversation. A shame, I thought they'd like the vid, but whatever. They then stop talking, wonder why the video has been stopped, and put on that subtle expression as if I've called them out on something and offended them by doing so.

Speaking of awkward moments. Knowing someone is upset for whatever reason, but won't admit to it and won't tell you what it is, which most likely means the reason in you.

So apparently the TA for one of my classes is a giant bag of dicks, and I'm only just learning this half way through the semester. This is going to make things difficult.

Was riding in the car while my aunt drove through Cleveland today and they have three lanes on their streets. One is apparently for left turns, one for straight, and one for parking, even though there are no parking signs all the fuck over the place. And no, it isn't a park lane, like some streets have. This has the dashed line indicative of a passing lane, not the solid like that says "do not cross." Idiots.

Also, cough syrup. Bllleleeeeech!

Yesterday I was leaving for work when I realized I locked my keys in my house. I was pissed at myself for doing that, but eventually I managed to break in using a pair of scissors to jimmy a door because my debit card wasn't exactly working. Then I got more pissed off once I realized how easy it would be for anyone else to break in.

How did you manage to lock your keys inside? Most outside locks I've ever seen need to be locked from the outside. I don't understand what happened. My mind, it is boggled.

Really? Unless you're thinking deadbolts. We've got handles on our doors that you just twist the knob on the back and viola! Locked. It's surprisingly easy to do, honestly, heh.

Car insurance, and car insurance companies. I hate them with a passion. It's nothing but lazy and badly managed government enforced extortion, that doesn't even go to the state.

  • Why can you pay extra money for "no claims protection", so that bad drivers can pretend they're safe ones?
  • Why is it that during accidents, everyone dreads any contact with their insurers, because it's cheeper not to claim?
  • Why is it, that even on fully comprehensive insurance, after paying my insurer some £3000 over the years, is that in the case of a personal accident I wouldn't get a single penny towards my car?
  • Why do I get a cheaper quote if I store my car on the road, rather than in a privately own garage?
  • Why does it cost £200 more, to be unemployed with a mileage of 2000, than when commuting with a mileage of 10'000?
  • And why! Why on earth do they charge widows extra? "What's that? Just lost your soul mate? How sad. Now pay up." (I'm not a widow. Just something I noticed.)
It's all based on risk assessment and such, so they say. To balance out the numbers. That is, balance out the numbers after skimming off a 50% profit no doubt. The government isn't willing to handle road accountability itself, nor is it willing to provide public transport worth a damn, and so it hands the issue over to these state sanctioned extortion rackets. The insurance companies multiply and thrive, whilst bus and rail companies struggle to stay afloat, closing route after route.

And now after this rant, I'm still forced to choose which of these bastards to give my money to.
