there is a new scene, when you lost aganist the monster who assaulted Ixia, I had to use a old save to see that, because you need Ixia in the place to see the scene

From what I noticed, We have crouch shield stance with pixel animation.
and also new pixel animation from slimes.
item shortcut feature added and also more expansion with items
Mostly bugfixes and small changes.

You can also watch the scene by investigating Noel's desk that in her room, after defeating that boss.
And your backpack and water bottles can be extended even more.

From the latest post on Fantia, looks like the next version is planned to be released by the end of the year. It should include a new area, a few new enemies, and it looks like a new boss.

Every time something new is added, the quality of this game just blows my mind. The intro cutscene for the new boss is incredible.

Its been great watching the development of this game little by little advance a bit further with each turn.

New version is live (0.22a). If previous experience is any indication, there will probably be 12 to 15 version updates in the coming weeks though

New content:
-Added story up until the end of Chapter 1 (boss fight)
-2 New Skills
-5 New Enhancers
-Forest area has been expanded
-English/Korean/Chinese support for all new content

NOT added:
-Game Over scene for the new boss
-Cutscenes for Nightengale
-Cutscenes for the Break Room
-A number of items exist in the game with no function yet.

These are intended to be added within the next couple months.

Am I doing something wrong against the boss? it seems to be a massive damage sponge and then it gets sleeping gas everywhere and I get stun locked to death.

Nvm beat him finally but then the game crashed, lol FU game. Nopefully that boss gets nerfed a little bit because I really don't want to go through that again.

Way's to deal with the boss:

Do not let those spore seeds stick beside you or where you will slide/land in: They will stun-lock you.
You can easily deal with them using spinning slash before they land on the ground.

I advise eating food that reduces smoke debuff/debuffs as a whole since they are really nasty.

Advising to use the talisman that doubles your hp/mp if your too nub to dodge or shield.
[You can actually beat it by just eating HP foods and tanking nearly everything if your too lazy to learn the mechanics.]

Kill the mobs that spawns to make yourself some room: Especially the mushrooms [The boss spitting spore clouds is bad enough.]

Note: you can actually repel the missiles the boss throws at you by swinging your staff, [needs proper skill/timing].

The boss fight is easy: Since it has 3 phases which is pretty challenging and cool.
I Like this dev a lot, and this boss fight sells it.

The H- Drill not a fan and quite brutal but the fight itself speaks to how much effort was done to make it happen.

Yeah I actually completely forgot about the food mechanic haha, just buffing resistance to the sleeping gas made the fight much easier.

1 mob (lizard), 1 small boss (frog), and the area boss.

Other than those depend on new mobs, no.
Edit: heard that the old mod puppet will also build Spanish donkey in new maps. Haven't tried to trigger it yet.

First time a game is so good not because of the H, but the boss fight itself being super amazing, have no idea how an artist specializing in ryona pump out such polished and clean Platformer.

This game truly does shine out compared to most other currently in production in my opinion, it took me a few tries to beat this boss but man it was a nice feeling once i got its gimmicks down and was able to counter him, something akin to playing a darksouls game.

i genuinely think this will be another game where i came for the porn but will stay for the story like MGQ.
