Re: In today's news...

Seriously. Can people stop trying to kill each other for stupid reasons for like, I dunno, ABOUT TWELVE HOURS or so? Fuck's sake....

Re: In today's news...

Hey, you want to stick the US? A person is killed by another person every 1.875 hours.

Or we could work to keep girls in school and getting them education and birth control. It's been the most effective way to reduce birth numbers so far. ;)

Re: In today's news...

Todays the DNC x.x

also:

ahem:

The club said there was "armed security" at the event for children between the ages of 12 and 17, adding there "was nothing more we could have done." Although police did not immediately give information about the identity of the suspects, the club said that "it was not kids at the party that did this despicable act."

:/ And suspects were detained. Why didn't one of these "good guys with a gun" do what "good guys with a gun" are supposed to do?

Damn, ISIS pushing into Al'Quaida territory now? Well, as a caricature put it: The tears of social media are only flowing westwards.

Also, the guy blowing himself up in Ansbach had a confession video on his cellphone linking him to ISIS. So far, they haven't really made a great impression in Germany :/ Not to make light of matters, but so far their guys only managed to get THEMSELVES killed. The shooting in Munich was not a terror attack, but a good ol' American-style shooting spree.

This gives me chub. Where have you been hiding since I got here?

Re: In today's news...

Daily terror attack

Considering to just not bother posting these anymore, even if it's news.
I mean, we can just assume a muslim/ISIS affliate does something bad in Europe every day instead

Re: In today's news...

I wonder if all these attacks starting just after they've all been starving themselves for the brightest month is a coincidence or cause.

The Ice Bucket Challenge that went viral in 2014 has funded an important scientific gene discovery in the progressive neurodegenerative disease ALS, the ALS Association says.

I'm in tears right now. This is huge. My aunt will develop the inherited version and this is huge. Ohmygod.

Re: In today's news...

ISIL is killing Muslims. ISIL is not made of Muslims. They were killing Muslims during Ramadan too, you idiot.

Hey fuck stick, Muslims have been killing each other since the time Mohammed died.

I'm pretty sure ISIL is made of Muslims; how many Jews, Christians, or Hindus do you honestly think are in the Islamic state?

Yes I'm aware Muslims were killing each other in Ramadan, I was following the Ramadan bomb-a-thon
They were killing each other before hand too, my comment was about wondering if the attacks had increased because some of them could really do with a Snickers

Re: In today's news...

...negrep? Almost certainly right about being Muslims in ISIL; if being in the same religion meant not killing your fellows, think Christians and Taoists would have a very different history...

Damn, that's amazing. Great to see something has been found, need some good news amongst all this other shite.

I thought the challenge was pretty stupid, but hey, if it helps, it helps.
And that is not stupid in any way
