I think they just don't like her body type is the biggest issue, they're probably more into milf territory. Either one would have been fine for me really.

I actually think a lot of porn in general is focused too much on feminine pleasure, or that we're supposed to be pleasured by it. Porn tries its absolute best to keep the guy as silent and as out of the camera view as possible, most male porn stars barely even look like they're enjoying the scenarios they are in. Even mind break, which is supposed to be a rapey genre, is focused more on convincing the girl that she enjoys sex, rather than actually having the sex itself. I think this is why the ''ugly old guy'' genre is popular for some people, it forces the guy to be an active participant the scenes and due to the genre are made to actually give the viewer feedback on how good they're feeling.

JSK's games are kinda rare, at least from what I see from the porn I view(a lot of it) where it has a route where the guy is the one being pleasured and the girl isn't the sole focus, or if the guy is the sole focus is more of a tool to convince the woman that deep down she's a horny slut. I mean if I'm watching porn and they're trying their absolute hardest to keep the guy silent , out of camera, even if they have to do ridiculous positions to only show the girl, how does that convey to me that I would be enjoying it if I were in their position?
You're not wrong. But there's a disconnect in logic somewhere along the line, because I want to see as little of a man as possible when I'm watching real porn, like if there was just a floating dick that'd be the best case scenario. Even moreso for audio, but this is because of a different reason; often the guy's just come off like scumbags. Maybe it's the writing, maybe it's down to the fact that porn is just video-recorded prostitution and they talk like it is, maybe they really are scumbags. Perfect example: early bangbros vids, the guy behind the camera talking constantly is a fuckin asshole and literally every video would be better if he was stripped from the audio track.

Could it be perspective? Like are you imagining yourself as that guy? I replace that guy with myself, I think.

Me on the past few pages;
Pretty interesting discussion, though. I tend to prefer JSK's interrogation type games as they have more interactions and more narrative options, but since I can't understand a lick of Japanese kanji/kana [or even any of it at all] it gets difficult... even with trial and error. Plus, they are also more interesting... at least to me.

I think part of it has to do with the time I discovered JSK's works; played Orekko first > loved it, Miyuka next > good, then came Yukano. It's like Miyuka, but with more routes/options/dialogue. During that time Shion had been released not too long ago, and that was an amazing game. All of them were translated, of course.

When I can't understand the game, it just becomes less interesting to me. I know it's weird but I like to read through the story/setting each game has, especially the interrogation type games. Since most of the time I can't understand what they're saying, I felt like I would be better off playing the battle oriented games... although they also have stories of their own to tell. I guess it's kinda like playing a Visual Novel?

I'm not totally against the new Miyuka remake, it's just that those kind of character tropes kinda turn me off, that whole tsundere thing. What I do like is the different reactions/characteristics she has depending on the different routes you take.

Agreed, on both points. I'm willing to pay 5 bucks extra for an English version for the interrogation games. I've always assumed that despite the likelihood of it being pirated, JSK is one of the studios that can afford an English translator. They have a very strong following in these communities, since they're basically the only guys doing these format of games. I never understood why there is so many games trying so hard to build large, expansive platform challenges or rpg games when JSK can put out 3 games per year and sell as much as they do. Maybe because there's alot of programmers and not enough artists?

Regardless, I'm extremely excited about the moody niece translation coming along. I am not a fan of the idea of the upcoming game either, but it's a JSK game, the format is so good that even though I have no interest in it, I am still excited. I just consider the Japanese version to be a beta, and the English version is the official release with no ETA lol.

I always buy the games I like from DLSite English after they are translated here. Sometimes before. Prepatched games kinda work on the honor system. Whenever I update from the repository the games I don't like or have not bought yet (and have tested) go straight to the recycle bin. Still prefer the battle types over interrogations though.

Complete opposite here. I always hype his interrogation type games more, glad he's doing both.
Maybe there's gonna be a mix between both genres soon? Who knows 👀

Hi! long time lurker here. before I write down what I want to share, I'd like to thank everyone here for what they have done on this thread. All the translations, guides, unceonsors and shares are appreciated!
Speaking of uncensoring the games...

Basically my version is like crude or almost complete uncensored of the games. What's that mean is that there still mosaic sprite in some of the scenes but it's tiny enought not to distract the "action".
For noxtek's version is like what he said, deleting "this.addChild(this.mosaicBitmap);" line will basically remove all mosaic on all scenes.

btw, I still trying to figure it out on how to delete that line using JPEXS free flash decompiler. Not really good at coding myself :/
I'd also would like to know where that line is located. It should simplify uncensors quite a bit going forward.
I've figured it out! Here's it is, step by step! IMPORTANT: as stated before, you'll need JPEXS, also needed is a playerglobal.swc file. You can download the .swc from adobes website.
1.Download the two items above.
2.Place the .swc file in any folder you want.
3.Extract then Open JPEXS
4.Click on the "Open..." folder. follow the path to whatever swf you want to edit, click on it and click "OK"
5.Now open the scripts folder of the swf on the left window, open more folders from the scripts if needed until you get to the scripts themselves.
6.Click on any script and the script will appear in the middle screen, under it will be an "edit actionscript" button. Click it.
7.JPEXS will say that it could not find an .swc to use for editing and will ask you to provide the file path to one. Click "OK" and find the folder where you placed your .swc. Click that and click "OK" again.
8.Now your ready to decensor! Go to the tools tab and use the text search tool to look for the "this.addChild(this.mosaicBitmap);" script. You'll most likely get multiple hits.
9.Pick one of the scripts that was found, than scroll down until you find the script you searched for. As an example, it was always line 72 in the Satsuki remake.
10.Click "edit actionscript" again, click and drag your mouse over the script, then hit backspace. Save the change with the save button near the bottom.
11.Repeat steps 8-10 for each script that has "this.addChild(this.mosaicBitmap);". when you've deleted them all, move on to the next swf to do the same.

I hope this helps anyone who hasn't figured it out yet! Sure took me a while.

Same result with the sticky mess I guess (joke)

Been fooling around with that fighter girl Satsuki game, I'm definitely buying it next month. Gonna be interesting with all these remakes. Looking forward to the vampire hunter and Maisa remakes. Hoping that by the time he gets to Maisa though he gathers the confidence to start doing more advanced monstergirls. Maisa would make an excellent harpy for the second stages of the fighting and having that form be normal for the endless lewd mode would fit the Fusion ending perfectly. Also I hope he keeps the music for the Vampire Hunter's lover ending the same cuz that really nailed the emotion of the scene.

Vanilla genres tend to suffer from this as well, but that's an entirely different can of worms.

JSK's games can be approached from any angle, sex for pleasure(rape end). Sex to convince the girl she's a horny slut(lewd ends). Sex where the girl either maintains a form of agency, or is the dominant one(subordinate ends), and the normal Honorable guy has an encounter with a girl and they both love each other route. He has a somewhat decent variety in body types. I'm not sure if this is intentional but he doesn't seem to try to make outstanding scenarios, rather uses common scenarios that we all love and enjoy because he's not trying to write a novel here. It's just a quick, hour or so long game with a toybox of nice things for everyone.

I don't really think the girls are full of much personality, they're an archetypical anime character in their respective roles and that's not really that big of an issue I think. VN's are more focused on story, while having sex, so they're not really as free with their characters but these games in particular shouldn't be held to those standards imo.
I disagree completely.
Porn is shown from the guy's POV, you're not supposed to hear the guy grunt or make noise (cause guys don't want to hear that), and more.

JSK is actually the epitome of the porn you hate imho. His male characters are literally faceless and are all the same muscular blue haired dude. His girls are DEFINITELY the sole focus. The camera angle is first person and 90% of the time the only thing visible on screen is the girl doing their actions.

Yes they're trying their hardest to keep the guy out of focus and out of camera. Cause other guys don't want to see that.

Not to interrupt, but it looks like JSK made a new blog post! Something about the season making it easier to make games, I think.

Also says that instead of game-overing you on inappropriate actions/commands too early, she will just outright refuse.
