Link took out the blue fabric and found a rather pleasant two piece. She slid it on and smiled, spinning round once in happiness. The man kept his promise and then some... She felt sore still, but tried to ignore it, gathering her things once more and heading out.

"Ah. Miss..." The woman at the front desk interrupted her on her way out. "Not to pry, but... There seems to be quite a ... mess... in the stables."

Link blushed and quietly handed over a few rupees at a time, the woman tapping her fingers expectantly until Link had finally passed along twenty rupees, the woman finally smiling again as she spoke, "Ah, but of course, you can hardly be blamed too much for... what your horse does in there. I'll have it cleaned... and you can keep the far stable for the rest of your stay, if you'd prefer."

It was only as Link was about to check out that she remembered the other woman, having not seen the hylian back in the room, she tried asking about it. "Hm, can't say I remember very well. She must've slipped out while I was on break."

Link handed back the room key, and the woman looked slightly disappointed, "Oh well. Either way, we will tend to your horse's needs for the day. And we hope you room here again sometime."

On her way out the front gates, several guards stopped her, "Hey there. Haven't seen you around lately. Nice swimsuit. Come to see the water goddess? Well you can go ask all of her fans down at the far side of the lake. They'll be happy to tell you all about it." Link bowed and thanked the men, heading down the dirt road.

Many small stalls with pictobox sellers and pictures of the "water goddess" filled the area, many people in swimsuits, some trying to dive, others hoping to snap pictures. She looked at a few of the stands and the images that were supposedly of the water goddess.

It didn't take much for Link to figure out that if there was really anything here worth looking into, most of these stands wouldn't be able to give her any information on it.

Disappointment slowly building, Link walked past the multitude of stalls and came to a far less festive area. There were a few ships with rather sour looking crews, armed to the teeth and looking like they were ready to kill anything they could get out of the lake. A little further off was another small dock with a far dinkier looking ship and a familiar looking old hylian aboard.

Link's Stats:
7 hours left until the False King knows she's missing.

d) Link gives up hunting the water goddess, after looking at the fools scattered about the side of the lake and decides to go back to another plan... (revote on previous vote 2 :p )

Link shook her head at the mere thought of going with the tougher crew. Just as she walked by she had a few catcalls after her, and glanced over in time to see a few crude gestures. Though many of them were professionals, and she was fairly sure they wouldn't try anything while on the job, a few of the less professional ones seemed like they wouldn't care one way or the other.

She continued to the smaller boat and the familiar face. Elderly man looking up with a smile, "OH! You look somewhat familiar... you're not the new crew from Kasuto, are you?"

Link shook her head.

He mumbled a bit to himself, "Could'a sworn I know this girl..." He spoke up again, "Oh, terribly sorry my dear. I am Dr. Mizumi. And I am here investigating the rumors of the Water Goddess of Lake Kasuto... Would you like to join my crew? I'm a few people short and my instruments are difficult to move around. I miss my old lab by Lake Hylia... right at the lake, it was never much bother to get right to work. I never had to worry about those monsters roaming around bringing equipment back and forth."

Link nodded and quickly accepted his offer, the man looking shocked and waving his arms happily, "Wonderful! We must find the Water Goddess before those ruffians do. My assistant is up at my lab running tests. Go there and ask for the boat's equipment, then bring it down here as fast as possible. It shouldn't take you more than three trips." He pointed to a small hut with a few strange instruments hanging off the sides of it.

Link nodded and ran up the long path towards the hut, a few chuchus hopping around along the path, a couple stray blue tiktites, even a likelike here and there. It seems like most of the lake's monsters had been driven off to this area to avoid the heavy population that was out looking for the lake goddess, turning this into the most dangerous area of the lake.


Even at a glance, Link could tell she didn't stand a chance of clearing out all of these things without hunting them for hours, but as long as she wasn't too burdened with heavy equipment, she could easily avoid the mess of them.


Link arrived at the small hut and opened the door, finding another strangely familiar face, though she just couldn't place it. "Hi there, who are you?" A rather tall, slender woman was waving at her in greeting, the woman was fairly young, younger than Link even, barely a teenager, but she seemed to have just had a growth spurt, slender an smiling, short brown hair done up in a ponytail, a pink tanktop on with a purple skirt beneath.

Link waved a bit and motioned that she was helping the doctor.

"OH! Sure thing, my dad and I just arrived here the other day, so everything is a bit disorganized, but I think... the doctor wants these..." She pointed at three odd pieces of machinery, one seemed to be a large box with little dials and hoses sticking out, the second one was a misshapen sphere with some wires and cords hanging off it, and the last one was a stack of small metallic disks.

"Since you're here, it will save us a lot of time. I need to finish some tests and get the results out to the doctor before we go. We have a lot fewer people, so if we want to best those murderers finding the goddess, we need to work fast and smart... Just be careful... those thugs have already gotten a bit fresh with me a few times. Not that my dad bothers to notice." She whispered the last part under her breath and turned to go back to her work.

Link turned to the things she had to carry out and decided what to do...

a) Link heads outside and tries to take out the more dangerous enemies quickly, leaving a safer path.
b) Link goes outside and attempts to clear a single, straight path before starting to carry the things.
c) Link knows that the few enemies she defeats quickly now will just return, and decides to simply try to carry the items quickly, and hopes to avoid enemies.

d) Link tries to get one of the thugs to help guard her...
d1) in exchange for rupees.
d2) in exchange for a quickie.

e) Link decides not to help them anymore. (Warning, this option will almost certainly lead to not finding Ruto in time.)

Link bowed to the girl and walked over to the things, picking up the first strange tool and walking to the door, pushing it open when the girl called out one last time, "OH! And be careful with that! These things aren't exactly delicate, but if the tools get knocked around too much, we'll need to recalibrate them... and those disks are the only ones we have prepared, so if you lose them, it would take us days to replace them."

Link shrugged, that was always the case, after all. These kinds of tasks were never easy.

She hefted the object and felt its weight hard against her body, grinding into her as she nudged open the door and looked down the path, deciding to take it as fast and easily as possible, she hoped, to avoid running into monsters whenever she could. She took a moment's break to set the thing back down safely on a table, and retrieved her red potion, drinking it in a single gulp, and she instantly felt better, her body relieved, muscles no longer stiff and sore...

(First Trip)

Link took a long stride around the like likes and avoided the tektites as best she could, thankfully only a couple smaller monsters after her. A blue chu chu hopping towards her, "Uahuh..." Link managed to make a few rough hops and avoid the thing. Another one came closer, and Link tried to avoid it, a green one this time hopping at her, suddenly the thing splatted against her side, "AAUGH...eeew.." she managed to stand against the attack, feeling her entire side covered in slime, huge gobs of the messy creature's gooey body caught in her top, squirming and rubbing against her breasts as she tried to push past.

Moaning softly as her breasts were teased and toyed with, she didn't know if the slimey thing was actually trying to stimulate her or merely foolishly thinking it could eat her while such a small piece of it was stuck on her. Her nipples were suckled on and teased, her breasts groped and kneaded. Link's hands straining to hold the heavy object, and there was nowhere she could put it down safely as she continued her trip towards the small boat, growing more excited as her breasts were slowly molested the entire long walk.

She reached the boat and delivered the object, setting it down on a table and grabbing at her breasts, lifting her top and exposing her breasts in her urgency to get the green creature off of her... The instant her top came up though, there were catcalls and cheers from the hunters' ship, Link blushing darkly as she realized without meaning to, she just flashed every man on the ship, showing off her tits and the green creature groping her. She rounded fast, back to them, only to come face to bare breasts with Dr. Mizumi. "Ah.. hello... hehe, I'd like to study those a bit some time... Having... a problem?"

Link groaned and grabbed at her breasts, rubbing and squeezing until she managed to pry enough of the green creature off of herself that it could no longer hold on, the rest of it splatting to the ground and falling apart, before she managed to pull her top back on.

"Ah. Little slimey creatures. I had a chance to study a few. A strong impact to their core often scatters them and makes them unable to reform for a while, but it does not kill them. It's actually a mixture of hundreds, maybe even thousands of smaller creatures..." he starts to ramble on about the creature, but Link politely interrupts him by pointing to the instrument she just brought from the hut.

"OH! Excellent! You can leave it here for now, we will install it when everyone comes down and we're ready to go. Bring me the other tools so we can find the water goddess before those thugs!" The doctor smiled and turned back to his work again quickly, seeming surprisingly busy again, but Link couldn't help but hear a few stray things uttered from the old man, "... ... ...wonder if she's got milk in them... ... ... chu chus seem attracted to her, might need to test that further... ... ... might try to convince her to let me use her as a subject... ... ..."

(Second Trip)

Link had no trouble avoiding enemies on the trip back up, without the heavy equipment she was far faster than anything that could come after her.

She picked up the oddly shaped second piece of equipment and rushed down the path again, more creatures after her this time, the little hopping chu chus, and even a tektite took aim for her this time, but she managed to avoid all of them. She slipped past the hostile creatures, to meet with Dr. Mizumi still mumbling under his breath.

"OH! Wonderful! We should be ready for our trip soon..."

Link couldn't help but ask why he left Lake Hylia, mentioning the goron that was in his former lab.

"Aaaaaah... I sold that old building to him after I finished my experiments on Lake Hylia. This pretty zora girl that I met on the lake one day got to talking with me. I couldn't tell why she was so interested in me, but she was a huge help to my research! Such a nice young thing. Let me run experiments on her..." he smiled, "With her help, I managed to reach the very bottom of the lake and completed years worth of experiments in a few weeks! Like did you know that the fish life down at the bottom of the lake is inherently larger, than the surface fish? It seems to be a result of the added space to swim around in. And the way the schools of fish swim always has a certain pattern to it, depending on species, such as the..." the good doctor began to ramble on and turned to start flipping through a book that he had. It seemed like he'd be at this for a while if someone let him.

Link tapped him on the shoulder and reminded him of the new experiments and finding the water goddess.

"... OH YEAH! How could I be so forgetful? Yes, yes. Here. I'm sure you're interested in my research and would love to read about it in your spare time. I happen to have a spare copy of it right here I can give you. But please save it until we have free time. Get the rest of my equipment from the lab first please."

Link was given the most amazing thing ever, a complete four hundred and sixty three page documentary about Lake Hylia, written by the incredible Doctor Mizumi!

It's such an amazing gift, signed by the doctor himself, Link can barely keep herself from reading it on the spot!

Link politely excuses herself, hearing a few last utterances whispered by the doctor again, "... ... ... I hope she likes my book... ... ... maybe when she reads it, she'll become one of my fans... ... ... speaking of fans, I wonder if that other girl will let me run tests on her... ... ..."

(Third Trip)

Link had a strange feeling of being followed when she reached the hut again, nudging inside and grabbing the stack of disks, then turning to head back down one last time, "Hey! before you go, remember, that stuff is very sensitive, each one of those you drop will take us hours to fix, and there's dozens of them there..." The poorly balanced stack was a bit difficult to manage, but it would've taken forever to drag the objects down only a few at a time. Link merely sighed, knowing these kinds of tasks were the norm for her, opening the door and beginning down her final trip.

Link saw the two hunters there only an instant before they struck, rough hands yanking her top up, squeezing her breasts and before she could react, she heard two loud snaps. Crying out sharply, she looked down to see a pair of nipple clamps crudely forced on her.

She nearly dropped the stack and yelled out at the pair, but before she could react further, the two suddenly made a run for it, laughing as they pointed behind her, a large like like fast approaching. If she dropped these things to battle the like like, it would've ruined all of them, but if she took the time to set them down gently, the creature would've been on her and damaged the equipment anyhow...

Link whined quietly to herself as she began to run from the like like, the huge thing just fast enough that she couldn't catch a break, and those two hunters gleefully teasing her as she walked, taking a few attempts on her...


Breasts bouncing hard and fast as she tried to run, she felt abused and sore as the clamps bounded around on her nipples, a few chu chus came at her and the hunters, but the pair had no trouble taking those beasts out, their hands coming close to Link and she barely avoided being grabbed at again.

It was by a stroke of luck that one of the tektites that attacked managed to hit one of the two hunters that was teasing Link, the man going down and Link managed to slip off while the two were snatched up by the like like.


Link heard cheering and catcalls as her nipple clamps painfully swung on her breasts, finally arriving at the dock and dropping off the stack of disks, not a single one damaged or miscalibrated.

"Oooh? Is this one of the tests from my fellow up at the lab? May I see?" the doctor was surprisingly quick as he snatched up the nipple clamps and toyed with them a bit, leaving Link huffing as she pulled her top back down, as she tried to protest and explain, but the doctor was off in his own world again. Link couldn't help but think he'd gone a bit senile... or perhaps better described as more senile, in the years she'd been gone.

Dr. Mizumi hummed as he toyed with his new find, "You will need to show me how these test instruments work sometime... I wonder if Ruto would mind getting this test as well... She always was eager to help me with anything... I bet she'd be amused at this test too..."

Link almost disregarded his mutterings as she did before if not for hearing one thing... she instantly grabbed at the doctor and asked him about Ruto.

"OOOH? You know that Zora girl?... Looking for her? Well of course I know where she is! ... ... Sure I can take you to her, right after we finish our work here! Come help me with this..."

Although it seemed that the lake goddess was not Ruto, in a rather roundabout way, Link has found a way to track the princess down!

Link finished helping the doctor install a few of his machines, and the two hunters that abused Link made it back to their ship, time drifting along slowly, but steadily. When everything was finally in order for the trip, the doctor announced happily, "Wonderful! Now if you could just go get my fellow scientists from the hut, we'll be off."

Without dragging things around, and with the hunters put in their place, it was no trouble at all to get the cute young girl and her dad rushed down to the ship, the group arriving just as they watched the hunters' ship heading off.

Dr. Mizumi waving his arms wildly, "HURRY UP! WE CAN'T LET THEM FIND THE GODDESS FIRST!"

Everyone piled onto the ship and they set out quickly. The hunters already throwing spears into the water and trying to spear anything they could.

Dozens of little instruments were going off, the young girl running between the doctor and her father, but it looked like nothing they were doing was making and real progress. The only hope they seemed to have was that the hunters had no real guess either.

a) Link tries to help with the boat's equipment to track down the "goddess" (EDIT!!! instruments, as previously worded, meant the boat's instruments and equipment, not musical instruments. Link knows no songs for summoning the "goddess", and she only has her Ocarina of Time.)

b) Link dives into the water, trying to search on her own, with the help of the blue swimsuit's magic.
c) Link attempts to get onto the hunters' ship to sabotage them.

d) Link dives into the water and pretends to be the lake goddess...
d1) to try to trick her own crew so the doctor tells her where Ruto is.
d2) to try to trick the hunters' crew so they stop looking for the real goddess.
d3) to try to lure out the "goddess" somehow, hoping the goddess will show herself to a fellow underwater being.

e) Link takes a break from working to read Dr. Mizumi's book.

EDIT: Unlike OoT, I will allow Link to merely dive underwater and swim around constantly with her blue outfit, not require iron boots. In this way, her dive/surface commands are more like the Zora's from MM (but it doesn't give her swim command). In this way, she can explore beneath the lake if that option is taken.

if there were people wading around and swimming there shouldn't be anything -that- dangerous lurking in the water. Plus it might help us get away from creepy grandpa faster.

Vote: A+B, First try to find an appropriate use of any instrument on the boat, whatever equipment now may be there, including asking the others for help or advice. If this fails, go fish. AKA Swimming. AKA B.
