i think youd have to message SJ about that, either way so far i've honored purchases on kimochi (there was a bit where the games werent downloading properly, so people who emailed me, i sent the mega links for the full game)Huh, that's a shame. I've only purchased one game on there (Sourjelly's game), should I get a refund or will that update of his be given somewhere else for those who purchased it?

Alrighty then!In my case, I was planning to release the 1.50 update for the customer who bought my game, and now I need to do something or my customers from Kimochi will not be able to get the update. ):

they can be slow with replies, so if it takes longer than a few days dont worry...wouldve been nice if we were told sooner it was in danger of dropping so we couldve done more about itAlrighty then!
It's alright. I'll be content as long as that I can get the update without buying again.they can be slow with replies, so if it takes longer than a few days dont worry...wouldve been nice if we were told sooner it was in danger of dropping so we couldve done more about it
Itch.io themselves do nothing to censor your content, which is great!Hentaiwriter tells me that itch.io says hentai is fine too... so im gonna give it a chance once the games done
ughhh i've tried to censor one of my games before...it was annoying as hell...Itch.io themselves do nothing to censor your content, which is great!
But...
Their payment processors don't allow porn! Paypal and Stripe both forbid the sale of "obscene materials" via their services. So be careful!
The Steam loophole might work.
Sell an all ages version of your game through itch.io, and freely distribute an 18+ content patch as a free download through your own separate uploads.
they were paying for fast data transfer speeds tooWhat? they quit after half a year?
Ofc they lose money, it's rare for a business to be profitable after only half a year. I don't really understand how they lose money because file hosting is super cheap nowadays. So sad, I never even could test it since they never released the 32bits version
I don't think game's visibility is the main issue with payment processors - sooner or later they may find out anyway, just by reviewing some of the content for which the payments go, I guess.azurezero said:ughhh i've tried to censor one of my games before...it was annoying as hell...
wouldnt be fine if i kept the game off the searches but linked the sales page on ulmf?
Please email me the details of your situation: steamydev at gmail dot com. I'll do whatever I can to help you.I bought Anthophobia on Kimochi a while ago, and recently the game disappeared from my library and demaded that I buy it again. I tried to contact the staff but they never got back to me, so: fuck em
Its sad to see stuff like this not end up working in the end. In the mean time while we wait out for another distribution system, I'll keep having my guys cover the titles. Honestly the only reason why we aren't cover more games from here is cause the site does need a bit of help.Guess we now rely on sites like Lewdgamer & the community to grow even more to just spread awareness/let people know our titles are out there.
