I was always under the impression that the British napkin was the same as what we call a diaper and vice versa. And that a saloon was slang for a sedan, though I guess it's possible that the slang differs depending on where you are in the UK too.
The only term I've ever heard that I couldn't quite figure out from context was when someone was talking about going about an off licence.

An off licence is a place that is 'licensed' to sell alcohol for consumption 'off' the premises. As opposed to a place that only has a license for drinks to be consumed within. I can say that I did have to google that to remind myself, having been confused by it (and then forgotten the explanation) myself before. It's not quite the most intuitive slang is it. Always sounded like an openly illegal alcohol store to me. I assume in the past when it was rarer or something, people would ask at pubs whether they had an "off premises license" or "off license", and it went from there. Maybe.
And milk and biscuits sounds fine to me. Tea and biscuits is traditional enough that it might just earn you citizenship. Though I'd rather go for milk and cookies myself. I've never understood how you get by with only one name to distinguish them by. : P

Well I've been gone for a while now haven't I?
Things ain't going great so I had to take another job as a waiter in a noodle "restaurant" (that place can't be called a restaurant).
Now I'm working at the lab from morning to the afternoon and at the noodle place in the evening. I only have Sundays free now ( T^T ) so I guess I'd just post something to notify y'all that I'm still alive but won't be able to comment or be around as often as before.
Now, time to sleep; I really fucking need it. (lol)

From Sept. 19 thru Sept. 26 I shall be taking a vacation. I'll be heading over to Texas to visit my brother and his wife and to make a mess of their new home, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to log in during that time. Hopefully I'll get all the updates that are needed done before I leave. If not, I apologize.
